Chapter 16: Hang out Between Family

Heizou think that it was a good idea to have them to hang out for 1 day. So 1 day of no work, protecting or patrol. No idea how, but Kuni managed to drag Xiao along. Not that he minded though, it has been awhile since he had seen them. After all he is an adeptus of Liyue.

"This will be so much fun! Finally, a day just to ourselves!" Heizou cheered. Kazuha was just following behind him. Kuni and Xiao was walking behind them, perks of being emo *slap*.

"Shouldn't we invite mothe- MASTER!! Shouldn't we invite Master along?" Kuni asked. Kazuha chuckled. Heizou sighed sadly. "No, I asked Master if he would come but he declined. Probably cause of work.... But he did cough a lot when I was there." He raised a hand to his chin.

"Really? Do you think he would mind us visiting him? Ask what's wrong?" Kazuha asked. "I'm sure Lord Barbatos would be touched" Xiao joined in. "Oh so you finally talked now? I thought you would be one of those emos that only observed and don't talk" Heizou joked.

Xiao summoned his spear, ready to throw it at Heizou. However Kuni put an arm infront of him "easy..." Kuni said. It worked, he dismissed his spear, making it disappear into the air.

"Boo! You two are so mean to me!" Heizou showed his tongue. "Well maybe if you act your age then we won't be so mean!" Kuni fumed. Kazuha patted Heizou. "Heizou, this is what happens when you act like a child, the older ones will bully you. Not me though, I'll be that one sibling that doesn't bully the younger ones." Kazuha said proudly.

Heizou looked at him in awe, touched "Kazuha...." Kuni and Xiao was observing from the side. "Are they in love?" Xiao asked "most definitely" Kuni answered. Kuni then smacked Heizou at the back. "Get up! We agreed to this hang out so you better make it good!"

"Ouch! What the heck?! You slap like a dinosaur!" Heizou said rubbing his back. Kuni glared daggers at him. "You people are so mean..." Heizou sulked. Kazuha patted him again.

"So... What exactly are we going to do today?" Xiao asked. It has been awhile since he had been with friends. Not after what happened to his fellow yakshas. "Ooh! Ooh! What if go swim in Starfell lake?" Heizou suggested.

"Doesn't sound like a bad idea. What do you say Kuni?" Kazuha asked. "Sounds good to me. Xiao, thoughts?" He asked. "I'm fine with anything." Xiao shrugged.

"Then it's settled! Let's go get some extra clothes and towels!" Heizou said as he started to run to Kuni's domain, Kazuha ran after him.

"These two are going to be the death of me some day." Kuni sighed. Xiao walked with him. "So how's it going with Childe?" He asked, wanting to know what is happening in his junior's life. It's not usual that he makes small talk.

Kuni blushed. "It's going great. He wants to introduce me to his family but I'm not sure if I would go..... I mean, Mondstadt needs me here. And I still have Dragonspine to guard." He said. Xiao patted him on the shoulders.

"I don't know much about love but in all honesty, I think you should do what you think is best. But do visit from time to time. He can't be the only one who visits you. He has work too." Xiao said.

Kuni cupped his own cheeks and thought. "You're right... You're right! I'll go ask mother if I can go to Snezhnaya next week!" Xiao offered a small smile, but then something struck him. "Mother? Who's mother?" He asked.

Kuni turned as white as a sheet of paper. "W-what are you talking about..? I didn't say m-mother, I said Master" he stuttered. "You totally did say mother!" He pointed to Kuni.

"No I didn't! Your hearing is just terrible!" Kuni denied. Then Heizou and Kazuha came back with 4 towels and clothes. "We got everything let's go!" Heizou said cheerfully.
