Kuni was drinking his tea with Kabukimeow on his lap. Heizou was playing with the water, splashing around. Kuni truly believed that he is a child in an adult's body.
It's been 7 weeks since Kazuha have been away and 5 weeks since Barbatos slumbered.
There was no danger in Mondstadt during the long weeks. Only abyss mages. The Knights of Favonius did nothing to help.
'How useless. Why does it exist in the first place?' Kuni thought.
Suddenly he realized something. During these five weeks... Have Morax been informed of Barbatos's current state?
He nearly forgot that Morax exists. How could he have forgotten the Geo archon exists? Well, the answer's quite simple. Simply because he didn't care about him. (Morax: achoo!)
' I should tell him... Maybe I could as about Kazuha as well' he thought as he patted the kitten in his lap. The little cat purred as it rolled around.
Heizou shook his head, Kuni looked at him "You okay?" He asked.
"I'm fine, just worried about Zuha" he answered as he joined Kuni on the stone table.
Kuni offered some tea. Heizou brought it to his lips. (Me: his delicious, scrumptious, plumpy, juicy lips *slap*). He scrunched his nose as he tasted the ridiculously sweet tea.
"How many spoon of sugar did you put in this?!" He asked as he put the cup on the table.
Kuni shrugged. "Not much. Just a 15 tablespoons" Heizou was flabbergasted. "Not much?! That thing is sweeter than candy!" He whined.
"Be quiet you!" Kuni huffed. The cat jumped into the table and went to Heizou's cup and licked it.
Heizou watched in horror as Kabukimeow kept licking the stupidly sweet tea. "See? Kabukimeow likes it" Kuni said.
"What is wrong with this cat...." Heizou mumbled to himself.
"I'm planning to go to Liyue" Kuni said. Heizou turned to him so fast even Kuni is concerned how his neck isn't broken *slap*.
"Let me come with you!" Heizou said, almost shouted.
Kuni squinted his eyes at him. Like he is unsure.
"Who's going to watch Mondstadt?"
"The Knights of Favonius can do their job and stop lazing around!"
"Who's going to watch Kabukimeow?"
"I'll have Cat's tails watch him!"
"Will you not annoy me when we're there?"
"Ye- wait! No!"
Kuni sighed. "What's your purpose?" He asked.
Heizou fidget with his fingers. "I want to find Kazuha"
Kuni was stunned. He didn't blink for a very long time that Heizou got concerned when a fly flew by.
Kuni finally blink after realizing that Heizou still didn't know that he is not human.
"You're... Concerned too?" He asked softly.
Heizou nodded his head slowly. "It's almost 2 months! He still isn't back yet!" He teared up.
Wiping his tears, he looked Kuni in the eye with tears threatening to fall. "What if.... He's gone? I still haven't told him my feelings!" Heizou broke down crying.
Kuni rushed to get up and hugged the idiot he has come to call 'best friend' "I'm sure everything is fine.... He's powerful, he can handle himself" he leaned his head onto Heizou's shoulder.
"What if he's not...... What will I do Kuni?! It pains me not knowing his well-being!" Heizou covered his face with his hand and sobbed.
"We will find him. I'm sure he's just busy with whatever he is doing and he can't come back"
Heizou looked at him and stared. Suddenly he smirked slyly. Wow, what a mood change.
"What will happen if that ginger finds out the way you're hugging me?" He said in a teasing tone.
Kuni's eyes widened. Wasn't he balling his eyes out just a second ago?! He smacked him on the back.
"Did you cry for this?! You had me worried!" He growled.
"Ayye! That hurt! But I really did feel sad!" He whined.
Kuni glared at him. "Well it doesn't feel like it!"
"Why do you want to go to Liyue anyway?" He asked rubbing the part where he was hit.
Kuni look at his tea that was no longer hot. "Lord Morax..." Heizou widened his eyes. "The Geo archon?!" Kuni nodded.
"But why?" Heizou asked with pure curiosity. Kuni didn't say anything. He drink the tea. "To inform him something"
"But we train under Master! Why would you inform him something? Unless..." Heizou brought a hand under his chin. Kuni was looking tired. 'what is he thinking now?' he thought.
SLAM!! Kuni flinched at the sudden action. He looked up. Heizou was standing up with his hands on the table and his mouth and eyes wide open.
"Unless he's also your lover!" Blank. Blank was all he knew that moment. Him? Dating the Geo archon? His master's lover? Ew!
"No way! Me and that lizard?! Blegh!" (Morax: Achoo!) "Plus, why would I date him when I already am with someone! Doesn't make sense!"
"Some people date two people at the same time, you know?" Heizou wiggled his eyebrows. "So why and what is it that you want to inform him?"
Kuni was silent. He really didn't want to tell the Geo archon that his lover is in a sleep. Or to mortals, a coma.
"I want to tell him that Master will be asleep for a very long time" he said pouring more tea in his cup.
"Oh? Are they good friends or something?" Heizou laid his head on top of the table. Kabukimeow had gone off to who knows where when Heizou slammed it.
"They're lovers" Kuni answered. SLAM!! Kuni flinched again. What was this guy's problem that he slam the table so much?
"WHAT?! WHY DO I JUST KNOW THIS?!" Heizou shouted with shock clear in his voice. "You never asked"
"Kuni, I'm about to slap you right now" (Childe: Don't touch my future husband!) "Damn! Heizou I know you're like, jealous that I have a more pretty face compared to you, but don't be so harsh!" Kuni joked.
Heizou rolled his eyes. "So why am I only now informed of this?" "Don't worry, you're not the only one. Kazuha doesn't know as well"
Heizou's face lit up. "Really?" "Meh, I don't know" nevermind, his face got gloomier.
"So when are we going?" He asked.
Kuni thought for a second. "How about tomorrow?" He asked. Heizou nodded. "I need to find my future prince charming!"
Kuni chuckled. "What are you then? The princess?" Heizou nodded proudly.
"I don't know... I like knight in shining armor and damsel in distress more" Kuni spoke his opinion.
"You go be that with that ginger! I wanna be with my prince and you go be with your knight in shining armor" Heizou dismissed it.
"Childe has a name!" Kuni complained. "Clearly not important enough to me" Heizou fought back.
They continue to bicker just like me and my sister would *slap*. Those two are really each other's best friend. No one gets them like they get each other. Kuni sighed. He wasn't lonely anymore.
