"Tsireya?" I whisper walking into her Mauri.

There were no lights on, just the reflection of the moon bouncing off the water beautifully. The stars lit up the sky to create small light.

"She's not here," I hear Aonung mumble.

It was so dark and my eyes hadn't adjusted to the room yet. There's always torches outside and normally inside but the Mauri was completely dark.

"Aonung?" I ask softly, stepping further forward and careful to not step on anything.

"Yea."

"Where's your family?" I slowly take another step.

"At the Sullys having dinner with them, I left early," he replies simply.

I couldn't tell where his voice was coming from but it sounded left? No right. My eyes squinted further, trying to adjust so I could find him.

"Oh ok, I can leave then," I whisper.

I really didn't want to leave after I stormed out on Roxto saying I was going to stay somewhere else and then just come back 10 minutes later.

As I turned around I was met with a hard chest that made me stumble back a bit. Whilst my feet searched for the floor they slipped on something round.

Luckily, Aonung caught me by my waist.

"T-thank you," I stutter, my breath catching in my throat.

Physical touch always made me nervous, no matter who it was. When Nan would hug we I'd freeze or Tsireya would hold my hand to drag me with her I would get all quiet. Or when Tonowari would pat my shoulder saying goodbye, I'd get all awkward.

"What's wrong? Nervous?" I could just tell Aonung was smirking by his voice.

"What? No," I huff standing up straight and dusting my self off. "How can you even see right now?"

There was a faint outline of his face and body from the moon and stars reflection but my stupid eyes still haven't adjusted to the darkness.

"I've been here for a while now," he admits, letting go of my waist.

I let out a breath of relief, physical touch scared me. No matter who it was.

"Are you sure your not nervous?" He asks, tilting his head.

"No I'm not," I roll my eyes, knowing what he's doing.

"Really? Because when I held your waist your breath caught in your throat," he observes, stepping forward and making me step back.

"No it didn't," I reply firmly.

"Oh it didn't?"

"Correct it didn't!" I scoff.

After each sentence he'd take a step forward; making me take one back until I was pressed against the wall of his family's Mauri.

"So if I were to," he places his hands on my waist. "Do this again, you'd have no problem?"

"No," I lie.

"You don't need to lie Ka'nu," Aonung smirks.

My eyes had began to adjust, making the left side of his face brighter than the right from the moons glare.

"Would you like to know how I know your lying?" He asks.

"Yes Aonung please tell me how you know I'm lying," I reply as sarcastically as I could.

"Because," Aonung drags the answer out, probably on purpose.

Dick

"Because," I raise my brows, making him speed up.
