Aonung, his family and I just finished eating the fish that Ronal had cooked. It tasted beautiful as it was filled with rich spices that only the Tsahik would have access to.
"Thank you so much for dinner," I smile as Aonung, Tsireya and I begin to leave.
"It's not a problem dear, welcome anytime," Ronal smiles, as Tonowari nods, agreeing.
"Be back before sun up," he smiles at all of us.
I smile back but when I turn around I see Aonung and Tsireya with an unamused expression on their faces.
"Bye," Tsireya waves as we all leave.
Heading out of the Mauri we make our way towards the Forest. I had no clue where we're going, does anyone know?
"Do either of you know where it actually is?" I ask, furrowing my brows as I step over a rather large stick.
"Yea, follow me," Tsireya nods, walking ahead of Aonung and I.
"Surprised Neteyam can light a fire," Aonung whispers in my ear as we walk alone each other.
I easily elbow him in the side of his ribs, containing to walk casually as he groans, clutching his side in pain.
"Don't be rude," I warn.
"Yea, yea," he groans finally standing up straight.
"You see it?" Tsireya points to an orange colour in the distance.
Aonung and I nod as we all pick up our pace to get there faster. The orange colour revealed to be an obvious fire surrounded by most of the Sullys and Roxto.
"Look who showed up," Roxto cheers standing up as he walks towards us.
"Better late than never," Aonung smirks.
"Hi Roxto," Tsireya smiles before walking over to Kiri.
"Hey shorty," I wink, patting his shoulder.
"I'm not that short," Roxto mumbles to Aoung as I walk away.
"No your not," Aonung agrees in support.
"Hi kiri," I smile as we approach her.
"Hi Ka'nu, hi Tsireya," she smiles looking at the both of us.
I sit down next to her, extending my legs out and leaning back on my arms. Tsireya sits on the other side of me cross legged and Kiri sits with one leg up for her hand to rest on.
"Hey Ka'nu," Lo'ak waves as he sits down next to Tsireya, turning hsi full attention to her.
Kiri and I both look at each other sharing knowing glances of their interaction. Roxto sits next to Kiri and I swear I saw her straighten her back. Aonung sits next to Roxto, Neteyam sits next to Lo'ak.
The fire was fairly small so we could all sit around it with little gaps between us all. Although there was a large gap between Aonung and Neteyam.
"Did you bring the Julio juice?" Lo'ak asks looking at Tsireya.
Tsireya nods at Aonung as he holds up 2 bottles of the alcoholic juice. The bottles were made of melted sand and made into the shape of a tall cylinder with a small hole to pour.
"We need coconuts," Aonung pauses looking around.
Turning my head to the side I see some. "I'll get em."
Standing up I walk over to pick up the coconuts, feeling different eyes on me the whole time.
