Ka'nu POV

Ringing sounded through my ears like a thinking drummed. It echoed off everything as the sound grew. My hands flew to my ears, covering them desperately.

"Ka'nu?"

Who that?

The ringing begins to die down and I blink, squeezing my eyes shut tightly as they slowly adjust. I finally open them, staring at the Navi in front of me.

"Your awake!" Tuk squeals, hugging me tightly.

"Yes," I cough, hiding my groan from the pressure of her but I welcomed it. "Why are you here?"

"We wondered where you were when you weren't teaching us so we asked Tsireya," Tuk explains.

"We?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"Come!" Tuk chimes, grabbing my arm.

As I sat up so I could stand up Aonung came in the room with some water. His face immediately brightens at the sight of me awake before quickly realising I shouldn't be standing so soon.

"Woah, woah, sit down."

"Aonung," Tuk whines, letting go of my arm.

"I'm fine," I look over at Aonung

He looks back at me, raising his brows slightly as his eyes widen. I roll mine in return before looking at Tuk then back to him.

"Slowly," Aonung eventually agrees, coming to help me.

"I'm fine," I dismiss, smiling as I stand up by myself. "See."

"Yea, yea," Aonung rolls his eyes as he walks towards me, standing close incase I fainted again.

"Ka'nu!" Roxto beams, running towards me.

Tsireya, Neteyam, Lo'ak and Kiri all follow him with smiles on their faces as well when they see me awake.

"Hey," I smile, hugging him back.

"Hey," everyone says.

"You guys didn't have to wait," I say apologetically.

I feel bad for making them wait

"Yes we did!" Tsireya yells, jumping into my arms.

"Woah," I chuckle before hugging her back.

"Are you ok?" She asks seriously, pulling back and poking my face, looking over my entire body.

"Perfect," I smile, nodding my head.

"You sure?" Kiri asks as well, looking at me sympathetically.

"Yes Kiri," I sat.

I can't believe they all waited for me

"Ka'nu, your awake," Ronal cheered, walking towards be with a bowl in hand. "Eat these."

She shoves the bowl into my hands and I thank her before beginning to eat. Everyone was watching me so I turned around as I ate. As I had my back turned I looked up to see Nan walking towards me.

"Shit," I curse under my breath.

Turning back around I hand Ronal my bowl, chewing quickly as I thanked her again before I began sprinting towards the other direction. Away from Nan.

"Ka'nu," everyone behind me yell.

I didn't stop though, I kept running. I did not want to see Nan after last night. I don't think I can ever face Tonowari either.

When I felt a stitch form in my stomach I look back, checking Nan wasn't there and when she wasn't I slowed down, bending over, resting my hands on my knees as I puff.
