Aonungs POV

"Why do I have to follow you and why are we walking so fast?!" Roxto pants, following closely behind me.

"It's important," I promise him.

We're headed towards Talos Mauri where we'll be meeting Ka'nu. I haven't told Roxto anything yet except that he needs to follow me and that's it's urgent.

I just hope we get there before Ka'nu does because I don't think she'll be able to hold back when she sees Talo.

I can't believe her dad died, she only just met him. She doesn't deserve any of this, she's so perfect and kind and beautiful and it's not fair.
My beautiful Ka'nu doesn't deserve to be treated like this.

My Ka'nu

I smile at the thought, she's actually mine now. With all that's happened in the past couple hours I've forgotten about it. Well I haven't really forgotten just been distracted.

"Alright so we're here, now what?" Roxto asks as we walk into his Mauri.

"Talo?" I call out her name as I began searching the Mauri.

"Yes?" She comes out of her room.

"Has Ka'nu been here yet?" I question.

"No, why would she be here, I thought you two went to Ta'unui?" Talo raises an eyebrow.

"We're back now," I glare at her.

Bitch

"Is Ka'nu coming here?" Roxto speaks up, trying to break tension.

"Yes, she'll be here soon, so get comfortable," I smirk, grabbing a chair and sitting on it.

"She has no right here," Talo scoffs.

"Yes she does, she's your granddaughter and my sister," Roxto defends Ka'nu.

"Whateve-."

"Talo!" Ka'nu yells, running into the Mauri; making me immediately stand up.

"What do you wa-?"

Talo is cut off when Ka'nu punches her straight in the face, sending her stumbling back as she holds her nose.

"You broke my nose!" Talo screams in pain.

"You deserved it," Ka'nu paces back and forward, keeping her eyes on Talo.

"What!?" Talo yells.

"You've ruined everything!" Ka'nu screams in her face.

"What the fuck is going on?" Roxto grabs Ka'nu hand, making her look at him.

"Should you tell him or shall I?" Ka'nu fights the tears as she glares at Talo.

"Tell him what exactly?" She raises her eyebrows.

"You know what, it's fine, I'll tell him because you don't know what actually happened," Ka'nu turns away from Talo, facing Roxto.

"What happened?" Roxto asks slowly, seeing the obvious devastation on Ka'nus face.

Ka'nu sucks in a harsh breath as I see her hold back tears. "She sent dad to another village; Ta'unui."

"Why would you do that?" Roxto looks over to Talo.

"I'm not done," Ka'nu grabs Roxtos attention again.

"Go on," Roxto nods his head.

"When there dad was shot and killed by Sky people," A tear rolls down her cheek.

"What?" Roxtos mouth hangs agape as he stumbles back slightly.

"While he was dying he told me he loved us, and that he couldn't be happier to die whilst saving other Navi," another tear rolls down her cheek.

"He's- he's dead?" Roxto stuttets, tears falling down his cheeks.

"Yes," Ka'nu turns to Talo. "And it's all your fault!"

"I didn't know he'd die, that's not my fault!" Talo defends herself.

It was clearly visible the moment Talo's words hit Ka'nu. Her eyes thinned, nostrils flaring, tail swaying cautiously as the anger inside her ignited.

"Not your fault? Not your fault! Roxto and I didn't have a father for seventeen years because of you! And now we won't have one for the rest of our lives!" She screams.

"Please, he was a shit father anyway," Talo scoffs.

What the fuck

"You bitch!" Ka'nu yells, running towards Talo.

As she runs towards Talo she takes out her knife and pushes her back against a wall, holding the knife to her neck.

"Remember that promise I made?" Ka'nu tilts her head to the side.

Talo gulped, eye darting away under Ka'nus intense stare. She was finally realising Ka'nu isn't a child anymore.

"What promise?" Talo trembles under her knife.

"That if anything happens to my dad I'd kill you?" Ka'nu reminds her, pressing the knife harder.

"Yea..." Talo whispers.

"I've never broken a promise before," Ka'nu pulls her hand back holding the knife in a position ready to stab Talo.

"Wait!" Roxto grabs Ka'nus arm.

Ka'nu couldn't move her arm now but she still kept the other pushing on Talo so she'd stay against the wall.

"She killed our father Roxto, she deserves no mercy!" Ka'nu yells.

"She's also our grandmother," Roxto reasons.

"I want her to suffer!" Ka'nu grits her teeth.

"Your going to be the future Tsahik of this clan, you can do what you please with her when that happens," I propose

I know Ka'nu will regret killing her grandmother, no matter how much she hates her, she's still her grandmother.

"You could assign her to the worst Mauri on the island, you could kick her off this island completely, you can do anything," I try to reason.

"I could also kill her," Ka'nu says dryly.

"She's my grandmother too, and as much as I hate her and believe she should be shown no mercy!" Roxto yells at Talo before turning back to Ka'nu. "I don't think you want that kind of blood on your hands."

"You've never killed someone before," I remind Ka'nu. "Please put the knife down."

Ka'nu hesitantly lowers her hand that was holding the knife as she releases Talo from her strong grip causing her to fall backwards onto the floor.

"Don't think this is mercy," Ka'nu grabs Talo by her hair so she'll look at her. "I'm going to make your life fucking miserable!"

Ka'nu slams Talos head on the ground causing her to scream in pain. Ka'nu then grabs Talos hand, tucking it under her elbow so she can't move her hand at all.

"What are you doing!" Talo screams, trying to move her hand.

"You did this to my father, it's only fair I did this to you," Ka'nu smirks.

She picks up her knife and holds it to Talos last finger. Ka'nu sucks in a harsh breath before cutting off one of Talos fingers.

Talo screams in pain.

Ka'nu release her grip on her as she stands up, wiping the blood of her face as she struts out of the Mauri, leaving Talo screaming on the floor behind her.

Just a short chapter so I actually update.
Talo got a taste of her own medicine!!!!!
