Ka'nu POV

Walking back to the campfire that the remaining Navi have surrounded around I couldn't see any of my friends.

It was mostly just drunk Navi left, and they were all Aonungs friends. I figured I'll go home now, to Roxtos Mauri.

"Are you going?" Hofto asks, standing next to me.

Where the fuck did she come from?

"I think so," I nod my head politely.

"You know he really likes you," Hofto smiles giddily.

"Who?" I ask, laughing slightly to ease the awkwardness.

"Aonung," she nods her head towards him.

Looking in the direction she nodded at I lock eyes with Aonung. He was staring at me with a small smile on his face before he was interrupted by his friend.

"Only cause he has to," I shrug, smiling softly.

"No, he likes you," Hofto beams before patting my shoulder.

What is with everyone and patting my shoulder?

"Bye dear," she smiles, kissing my forehead and walking away.

Oh

Aonungs grandmother is such a beautiful lady, very kind and always looking out for everyone. I turned around getting ready to walk towards my Mauri when I hear footsteps behind me.
Turning around I'm met with Kayra.

FOR FUCKS SAKE

"Hey," she smiles fakely and I just glare at her.
"Since when we're you and Aonung, you know?"

"A while," I smile, turning around to leave.

"Don't be rude," she scoffs.

"I'm not rude," I turn around, facing her again.

"Well then why were you going to leave?" She asks stupidly.

"Because your a-,"

"Hey, how we doing?" Aonung interrupts us, trying to calm me down because he could obviously see how annoyed I was.

Can't she respect her future fucking Tshaik? My ass could get her thrown out of the village if I really wanted too.

"Ka'nus being rude," Kayra whines making me stick my tongue out at her.

"Let's go," Aonung smiles at me, placing his hand on the lower part of my back.

"Your leaving?" Kayra asks disappointed.

"Yes," we both say at the same time, leaving immediately.

"Thanks," I mumble as we walk towards my Mauri.

"What was that?" Aonung acts like he didn't heard.

"You heard me," I roll my eyes, stumbling slightly.

"Your welcome." He whispers, mocking me.

"Fuck off," I whisper back.

Aonung just chuckles at my statement as we continue to walk in comfortable silence towards my Mauri.

Once we arrived I stand in the door way, turning around so I'm facing Aonung.

"You staying?" I ask.

"What about Nan and Roxto?" He asks, hesitant.

"Nans at a friends same with Roxto," I explain.

"Sounds like you want me to stay," Aonung smirks, clicking his tongue.
