Moving my head so it's facing his chest I think about how to make this subtle. I need to make him admit I've made him nervous because I have proof sticking into my stomach right now. I figured I'll keep pretending I'm tired, using that to my advantage.

Squinting my eyes, I tilt my head back pulling an arm up to rub my eyes. As I pull my arm up I purposely brush my fingers past his thigh. Rubbing my eyes I put my arm back down, leaning on his chest again.

I feel Aonungs heavy heart beat thumping in his chest. It was beating so fast I thought it was mine.

"Aonung, your heart beat is fast," I whisper, looking up at him as innocently as I could.

"Um, yea," Aonung sighs, biting his lower lip as he looks down at me.

"Are you ok?" I ask sincerely, bringing my hand up and purposely brushing his thigh in the process to place it on his chest.

Staring intently at his chest I feel his heartbeat pick up in my hand. Biting my check I try my best not to smile.

Looking back up at him I smile softly whilst keeping my hand on his chest. He had one of his hands on my hip, the other lying beside him.

"Don't do that," Aonung chuckles, closing his eyes before opening them again.

"Don't do what?" I act innocent, continuing to give him 'seductive' eyes.

I don't really know. I've never flirted with someone before so I'm just doing what I've heard Yuki say.

"That," Aonung speaks firmly, pinching my hip indicating the way I was staring.

"I don't know what you mean Aonung," I lie taking my hand off his chest and placing it next to me again.

"Um, never mind," Aonung sighs, shaking his head. "How much longer till we'll have to leave?"

"You make it sound like you don't wanna leave," I tease, leaning my head on his chest again.

"No it's just, I just don't want to run into my mum, you know?" Aonung rambles.

"We can stay," I shrug my shoulders, playing along.

I didn't know what to say next without making it obvious that I knew. It was pretty hard to miss actually, don't know how he doesn't know I can feel it. It's pretty hard.

An idea spiked in my mind, a good one at that. Raising my right hand slowly, I began to run my fingers along the strap on his hip holding up his loincloth.

His breath hitched in his throat as I felt his heart rate pick up again. He would've thought I was just playing with it, I'm actually trying to get him to lose the bet.

With my head tilted to the side I look out, between the Mauris watching my fellow villagers walk past. Then I saw Nan.

Now it was my turn for my breath to hitch in my throat. I stop fiddling with his string and I notice him let out a breath of relief. I'm too busy to tease him about that though.

I saw Nan stop in front of the gap still facing the other way. Her back was to us and it looked like she was sniffing the air?

Holy shit what if she knows?

Turning my head and leaning back I try to go the other way, moving sideways across Aonung. I hear him groan as I feel his boner on my hip now.

I then spotted Ronal on the other side talking to someone with her side facing us.

Fuck

I go back to my spot with Aonung, standing in front of him as I hold my breath. I kept moving trying to calm my self down. I don't know why I'm so scared of Nan.

She's just gets so upset with me and has this look in her eyes; like I'm the reason she's miserable and like I've taken everything happy from her.

I start cursing under my breath as I try to control my breathing to quiet myself down.

"Ka'nu, hey," Aonung cups the side of my face with one hand. "It's okay."

My eyes struggle to pick between his, peeing over each one rapidly. He just stared down at me contently, smiling as he breathed heavily. His hand dropped to my hip once I settled down.

"Do you hear that?" I hear Ronal sags as she talks to the person in front of her.

There's no way she's talking about us

"Hear what?" The villager asks.

"That heavy breathing?" Ronal began looking around.

"Aonung stop breathing so heavily!" I lean up to his ear on my top toes, whisper yelling.

As I attempt to go back to standing at my normal level he grips my hips tighter.

"Stop moving," Aonung mumbles.

His breath was still heavy, loud. It was getting heavier and I didn't know what to do. If Ronal caught us like this with me on my tiptoes hands on his chest and his hands on my hips we'd have a lot of explaining to do.

We wouldn't be able to say we were hiding from her or my Nan so what would we say? Oh my Eywa, she would tell my Nan and then I'd have to talk to her.

"Aonung stop breathing so heavy!" I whisper yell again in his ear.

"I'm sorry," he stutters back, his voice getting caught in his throat.

"Your talking too loud," I whisper in his ear again.

"It's not my fault," Aonungs voice cracks as he lets out another groan when I shift to look at Ronal.

"Someone's breathing heavily, they sound in pain, I need to make sure they're ok," Ronal says dismissing the villager she was talking to.

"Well this is happening," I whisper.

Grabbing the sides of his face I place my lips against his, shutting him up. I kept my eyes open, staring at Ronal.

Aonungs eyes were wide staring at me. I look back at him apologising with my eyes. I feel really bad but I genuinely couldn't think of anything else to do.

Now that Aonungs heavy breathing couldn't be heard Ronal sighs walking away from the Mauris.

Taking my lips of his I keep my hands on his face looking to my right to see if Nans there. Relief filled my body when she wasn't there anymore.

"Oh thank god," I whisper, leaning my head on his chest and finally getting off my tippy toes as I take my hands off his face. "Sorry."

"I-it's ok," Aonung sighs, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sorry about that to," I apologise.

"About what?" Aonung asks.

"Your boner."
