Marie watched as Hopper walked up to the edge of the wired fence at the Hawkins Lab, and she made sure that she was hidden in the seat of his truck.

She watches as he crosses over into the yard of the lab, and she looks around the woods that were currently surrounding her. She was creeped out by the darkness, and knowing that she was going to be alone while she waits for Hopper to come back from what he was doing.

Marie didn't know how long she was sitting in the truck when she heard footsteps around the truck, and she ducked down as far as she could so no one would see her. She then heard the passenger door open, and she turned, seeing a man standing there.

She screamed as he grabbed her legs and pulls her from the truck, once he had pulled her from the truck and she was on the ground he pulled a syringe from a pocket. He grabbed her by her hair and pulled her head to the side, sticking the needle into her neck and she slowly felt her eyes close.

"Marie Ann Henderson! If you don't get up right now, I'm coming in there." Marie's eyes fly open and she sits up so fast that she grabs her head. Once her head had stopped spinning she opened her eyes again, and she looked around.

She was in her room, in the clothes she had been in the day before were still on her body, and her bag was sitting on the floor next to her bed. She was confused, and heard footsteps coming down the hallway.

"I told you-" Her mom's voice says as the bedroom door opens, and Mrs. Henderson stops talking and looks at her daughter.

"Good, you're awake. Now get out of bed and get dressed, we have forty minutes before we have to be at the funeral." Her mom says to her, and Marie stares at her mom with a confused look.

"What funeral?" Marie asks, and her mother places her hands on her hips and just gave her daughter a look. One that Marie knew she wasn't playing an games with her daughter at this point.

"Will's funeral. The one I told you about yesterday." Her mom says, and Marie couldn't remember being told that Will's funeral was today.

Why couldn't she remember anything?

"You didn't say anything about a funeral yesterday." Marie says to her mother, and her mom shakes her head.

"I'm not having this talk with you, get up and get dressed. Wear that black dress you wore for grandma's last year." Then her mom turns around and slams her bedroom door shut, and Marie looks around her bedroom.

She remembered sitting in the truck, and hiding from someone. But then it goes dark, and she woke up in her bed.

She decided to get up, and when she did she got dizzy once again. She leaned against her bed until the spell passed, once it did she walked over to her closet and opened it and began to look for the dress she wore to her grandma's funeral a year prior.

Once she found the dress, she pulled it from her closet and laid it down on her bed. She then quickly found a pair of shoes to go with the dress, and began to undress and redress into the funeral attire.

Once she was dressed and had her shoes on, she decided to quickly brush her hair and put some makeup on. She placed a light brown eyeshadow on her eye lids, and a light pink lipstick on. Then she finished the look with mascara.

Once she was done, she looked herself over in the mirror and made sure she looked presentable. She looked exhausted, and almost like she didn't get an ounce of sleep the night before.

When she walked out into her living room she found her mother sitting on the recliner watching the news, and could hear Dustin in the kitchen getting a glass of water.
