Everybody Wants To Rule The World

"Hey, get away from the windows!" Marie yells out to the kids, and they all listen to her. She had run into Hoppers room looking for any kind of weapon, and she had found a baseball bat.

"It's close." Everyone was circled up in the middle of the room, and looking around. The ground was still shaking, and dust was falling from the ceiling of Hopper's roof.

Something came busting through the wall in front of Marie, and she screamed. Nancy shot at it, but it didn't stop. It grabbed the bat from Marie's hands and threw it across the room, within seconds El walked in front of Marie and held her hand out and ripped it apart.

Marie ran to grab the bat, when another one came barreling through the ceiling. Marie wasn't as quick, and it grabbed her leg. She screamed and was thrown across the living room into Jonathan, they both were on the ground.

Marie could hear El yelling, and she watched as more came busting throw the walls, and she kept ripping them apart. It fell silent for a few seconds, then it came throw the roof and grabbed El's leg.

Mike was the first to El, and Marie and Jonathan were the next two to jump up and grab her. This thing was trying to drag her through the roof, and everyone held onto her and they were being dragged across the floor.

"Nancy, shoot it!" Marie yelled out for her friend, she then saw Lucas jump onto a little chair. He had an axe in his hands, and he began to swing at the thing. 

He hit it one last time and El dropped the floor, and everyone underneath her. Looking up Marie could see whatever the hell it was staring down at them, she felt El get up, and she watched as the young girl raised both hands and tore the head of this thing in half.

It wasn't long before everyone was on their feet and running out the door, Marie was helping Max and Mike with El, and all four of them jumped in the back of Nancy's car.

"El, let me look at your leg." Marie says to the girl as they drive away from Hopper's cabin, and El slowly lifts her leg to rest ontop of Marie's. Marie pulled the fabric away from the wound, and she could see that is was bleeding profusely.

"Nance, do you have any napkins?" Marie called up to her friend, and she looked in the rear view mirror.

"Yeah, Jonathan they're in the glove compartment." Nancy says to her boyfriend, and he grabs a handful of them and began passing them back to Marie.

"I don't think this will stop the bleeding, but it'll help us until we can get somewhere with medical supplies." Marie says to the young girl, and El held onto Mike's hand.

Max and Marie kept the napkins placed against El's wound, and Marie glanced back up at Nancy.

"Nance, get us to the grocery store. They've got to have medical stuff." She says, and Nancy begins the drive to the store.

El was breathing heavily, and Marie felt for the young girl.

"If it makes you feel any better, you look a lot better than Steve did when Billy beat the shit out of him." Marie says, and El smiled smally.

Marie threw the rock through the glass door, and she walked in first. Mike and Max followed both holding El, and Marie began looking down aisles. She found the one she was looking for, and began to walk down it.

"Okay, get her down." Marie says, and she helps them set El on the floor. Marie was sitting next to the girl when Nancy began to clean the wound.

"Whoa, what the hell are you doing?" Marie asks her friend, and Nancy just stares at her.

"Cleaning the wound." Nancy says, and Marie shakes her head. 

"No, first, we need to stop the bleeding, then clean, then disinfect, the bandage." Marie says, and everyone just stares at her.
