The mystery of Saganash.

Strange first night.

Max was sitting on the floor in the middle of Anika and Sal who were holding his goggles and a mint. He took the goggles to put on, before seeing the mint Sal was holding out to him.
"Is it my breath? I brushed before I came here, all right?" He told as he put on the goggles, making the three helping the experiment give a confused look before he accepted it. "All right, not really, but..."
He went to put the mint into his mouth, which of course caused Erik to quickly speak up.
"Wait, wait!" He called making Max stop.
"The mint is for the experiment. When Sal gives the signal, drop it in the soda." Anika explained making him give a confused noise as he hovered his hand over it like Anika.
"You'll see." Erik told as him and Kate watched from the door wanting to see how this went and Tess and Daniel were back in the spots they were at before.
"Ready to go Sav?" Sal asked making her hit record.
"Ready." She told with a thumbs up.
"And... drop!" Sal ordered making the two drop it at the same time.
The reaction between the two quickly turned the bottles into an explosion of soft drink into the air, making all the whole family and friend exclaim in excitement over the whole thing. Of course it soon ended and the two returned back to normal.
"Oh, my gosh, the diet Colazzer went way higher!" Sal pointed out.
"Now I'm curious what's in a diet version to do that." Sav pointed out to the family, making them all think as well.
"You guys are not like other families I've stayed with." Max admitted.
"They sound like boring families." Sav told making the two smile at one another before Erik spoke up.
"Now let's show Max around the house. Who wants to do the honours?" He asked making Sal quickly raise his hand into the air and was just excited.
"Oh, I'll do it, I'll do it!" He told as Max was confused.
"You don't want us to clean up the mess?" Max asked.
"No, we'll take care of that." Kate told him.
"All right, Mega Brain. Give me the grand tour."
"Right, Dude Bro. Follow me." Sal told as Sav gave a chuckle at the use of the nicknames. "Oh, wait, um, this is the rec room by the way."
"Right, 'cause you wreck it." He stated making Erik and Kate chuckle in amusement as Max and Sal started to leave and Sav went to join them for fun.
"I'm not the only one shocked that Sav talked right?" Anika asked making the family nod in agreement.

So the three went to each room and Sal introduced them all to Max.
"The kitchen." Sal told making Max look around as they stood together.
"The place one finds food." Sav added to add some amusement to the tour.... Mostly for herself.
"She always like this?"
"Depends. Sometimes she doesn't speak."
"Sal spent months to try to get me to speak when we first met. He fell off his chair when I finally did and then the whole family went silent for dinner once when I spoke for the first time in front of them."
"It took another month and a half for her to speak in front of anyone else but me." He added.
"You did it to mess with him, didn't you?" Max asked making her smile at him working that out.
"Yeah for that extra half month. Only Erik and Kate believed him that I had spoken to him, but I think it was to be nice." She told before they headed to the next room Sal wanted to show.

"This is Anika's room" he told as the room had a lot of colours around but mostly purple.
"Can you guess her favourite colour?" Sav asked since it was very clear.
"Is it blue?" He joked along.
"Sorry, we were looking for the answer Purple, but for being such a good sport, you still win this top of the line gardening kit, which includes a nifty bucket." She joked as the two pretending it was some game show. "Better luck next time on winning the 10 grand and car."
"So close." He joked making the two laugh as they continued on the tour.

"Daniels room." Sal told and Max was taking in all the athletic stuff that was around the place.
"I hate exercising, it seems like a lot of work." Sav quietly told him as Sal started to lead them to the next room.
"Same."
"But I still run and do some fighting." She admitted making him give her a confused look.
"Really?" He asked making her nod.
"For running I pretend a murderer is chasing after me and for the fighting, I pretend I'm in some action movie and if I get beat, then my arch nemesis Gold tooth will take over the world."
"That's amazing. Maybe I should start doing that and see if it'll get me to like exercising."
"Well if you ever want to try, I'm happy to help. Gold is a challenging foe." She playfully told him.
