(Third p.o.v)

Sav was eating some late night ice cream when the light turned on scaring her, before she saw it was just Max.
"Sorry." He whispered not wanting to accidentally wake anyone else up. "Couldn't sleep?"
She shook her head no, making him nod as he came and sat across from her.
"Neither could I Sav." He told her before she offered him some ice cream. "I'll never say no to ice cream."
She gave a chuckle at that as he got an extra spoon for the two to now share the container.
"If I'm gonna be honest, I'm still scared that the place is haunted." Max admitted.
"Honestly, same." Sav agreed, making Max smile.
"And here I thought I was going to do all the speaking again." Max told her, making her chuckle.
"Yeah well, I kinda stopped talking for a reason."
"Really?"
"Yeah. My father didn't really like hearing anything from me if it didn't agree with him, or think of ways to help his insane plans. So, I stopped talking all together. I would talk to my gran of course, but even then it wasn't really full essays." Sav admitted, confusing Max.
"What about your mother? I'm sure she'd have wanted to talk to you." Max told, making Sav look down at the ice cream.
"Yeah she probably would of. If she wasn't dead." She revealed, making him feel terrible.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't know."
"No one really does. Well, Sal knows since he is my best friend. But you also don't have to apologise, it wasn't your fault in any way."
"I still feel bad."
"Seriously, Max. It was when I was like 5 at most, I hardly remember her anyway."
"Guess we share a thing in common."
"That we do. But we have each other and the Hunters to make sure we don't have to go through life alone." Sav explained making him give a small smile at that.
"Guess we do."
The two sat in silence for a few moments, just happy to have some form of company in this mad world they live in. Till Max decided to break it.
"You know.... I like spending time with you." Max admitted before he shoved some ice cream into his mouth out of nerves for what he was planning on asking.
"You do?"
"Yeah." He told with a mouth full before swallowing the food in his mouth. "I don't know. You just make me feel more calm and comfortable in your presence. It's relaxing."
"I like being in your presence as well Max." She admitted making the two smile before taking each others hand in one another.
"Sav?"
"Yeah?"
"Look I know we've only known one another for a month or so, but would you wanna hang out tomorrow. Just the two of us?"
"Are you asking me out on a date?" She asked, hoping he was.
"It can be a date if you want it to." He quickly told her, not opposed to it.
"Do you want it to? Cause I would also want you to want it to be a date." She quickly added as both their nerves kicked in.
"I would like it to be."
"So would I."
"Then is that a yes?" Max asked making her squeeze his hand.
"It's a yes Max." Sav told him, making him smile.
"Cool."
After some more time of the two getting along and talking about anything that came to their mind. They both felt tired enough to fall asleep now. Max of course wanted to walk Sav to her room, just for those extra moments together.
"Night Sav." Max told once he reached his door.
"Night Max." She told before both went into their respective rooms and got excited at what just happened.
'She/He likes me!' They both thought in excitement.

Once Max and Sav were ready, they headed out just to explore the city together.
"So what's the plan for this date?" Sav asked.
"I will be honest. I didn't plan this far ahead." He admitted making her laugh at it.
"Then how about we just walk in the park?" Sav offered as she wrapped her arm around Max's, making him slightly blush at it.
"Sounds perfect." He told her.

As they walked through the park, the two talked about anything and all things that came to their mind, and Max was surprised to hear Sav speak so much.
"I will be honest. I'm shocked by how much you are speaking right now." Max admitted.
"Yeah. Guess I'm worried that if I don't speak then it won't be fun." Sav confessed making them stop walking.
"Sav, you don't have to speak to me if you don't want to. I'm happy to do all the talking or communicate with you through texts like usual." Max told her making her smile.
"You are strange. You know that." Sav told him making him smile.
"Yeah well, as long as my strangeness doesn't scare you."
"Oh really?"
"Really."
"There's the problem Max. You'll have to catch me first." Sav told him before rushing off, making Max chase after her.
The two ran around the park, making them laugh and Max was having trouble catching her. After close to half an hour of Max chasing Sav, he was bent over trying to catch his breath.
"How are you so fast?"
"I run a lot." Sav told with a shrug as Max stood up and then quickly grabbed her.
"Got ya."
"I allowed you to catch me cause you are dying."
"No I'm not." Max disagreed before resting against the tree next to the two. "I just need to lie against this tree for no reason."
Sav chuckled at how Max was a wreak before she felt someone was watching them, making her look around and saw no one.
"You ok?" Max asked, finally caught his breath enough and saw her looking worried.
"Hm? Yeah, yeah. Just thought I felt something." She told with a smile, trying to not make him worried.
"You sure everything is ok?"
"Promise." She told him as she took his hand in hers and he decided to let it go for now.
"How about we get some lunch?"
"Oooo, I heard there is some good hotdogs from the cart." Saz stated.
"Oh I can definitely go for a park hotdog." He told making her chuckle as they headed off to find the cart.
Both thinking that their first date was going to be the start of something wonderful between the two as it continued to blossom.
