(Sav p.o.v)

I ended up going to the library with Sal and Max as we tried to figure out what came to be of Josephine's one true love as well as the missing jewel. Which was safe to say, was going no where.
"If this Pete guy was right, then Josephine had two men in her life. How do we figure out which one was her one true love?" Sal questioned.
"I mean, who's to say she didn't just love that diamond." I pointed out before Anika came skipping in.
"Did you guys find anything?" She asked before joining my side since I was across from the boys.
"No. We're still working on it." Sal told her as she picked up some papers next to me.
"Maybe Sav is right. Maybe it wasn't one of them. Maybe it was a pet. This one foster family I stayed with definitely loved their dog more than each other."
"Yeah I know that feeling all to well." I muttered but I knew the others still heard it.
'My father is all about one thing and if you don't fit in it, then he throws you out.'
We looked at Anika cause she was really quiet before she suddenly shouted in joy.
"I knew it!" She told us before showing us the photo she had. "I told you she looked familiar!"
"Hedwig Hunter?" Max questioned as he read out the name on the bottom.
"Aunt Hedwig. She used to come over on holidays."
"Oh my god! That's why she's familiar. I came across this photo when we went through all those books, my brain felt like it was fried." I told the three as Sal took the photo for him and Max to look at closer.
"Why would she say she's the cleaning lady if she's a Hunter?" Max asked.
"Yeah, and where's...Tess?" Sal questioned before we all remembered what she said to Tess this morning, making us all gasp and rush out to find the two.
"Tess!" We all screamed out as we rushed around on the bottom floor and ran into Daniel in the doorway for the lounge.
"Have you seen aunt Hedwig?" Max asked him.
"More importantly, have you see Tess near aunt Hedwig?" I quickly added.
"She's right. Or Tess?"
"Aunt who?"
"Aunt Hedwig!" We all shouted at him.
"Oh, no, she just said she was our aunt to get rid of Tim. Aunt Dolly."
"Daniel, this is exactly why she got a key from you." I told him, before Anika spoke in a panic.
"She really is our aunt-- our great aunt. She's Erik's mother's sister. Her name is Hedwig." Anika explained before we heard Tess scream and a thump follow after, making us run.
We ran to try and find her upstairs, only to discover the wardrobe in Erik and Kates room was open now and that it was extremely deep inside it.
"This is where I saw Josephine." Anika revealed to us making us look further in to see how dusty the secret room really is.
Anika of course went in and began to head down, making Daniel followed after her and I did the same since Tess was most likely in there. After a few moments, Max was behind me and grabbed my hand so we didn't lose each other in this area. We soon made it into an unknown room filled with old things covered in dust and Tess was on the ground, making us rush to her side and made sure she was ok.
"She wanted Josephine's key. She overpowered me and..." Tess told us, till Hedwig cut her off and revealed herself to us.
"Now you're all here."
"Auntie Hedwig?" Anika asked.
"Don't call me that. I'm not your aunt because I'm a real Hunter."
"We're real Hunters too. Erik and Kate are our parents." Tess argued.
"That's right. We love the, and they love us, and there's nothing you can do about it you mean old witch."
"Oh, well, if Erik and Kate loved you so much, where are they?"
"If your parents loved you so much, why didn't you get the house?" I shot back before standing up so she couldn't look too far down at me. "You need to leave. Now."
"You don't scare me. I'm only here to take what's rightfully mine before you little mongrels get your grubby little paws on it."
"Nothing is rightfully yours. You own no ownership of this house or the objects inside. You can not and never be able to make any claim whatsoever." I informed her.
"And I was told your own daddy doesn't love you." She fired back making me punch her.
"Don't you ever speak about my father or family." I threatened as I went to hit her again, only for her to grab my arm before I could and threw me to the wall, so I fell to the ground beside Max, making him move to make sure I was ok and he had a look like he realised something.
"That was you last night." He told her as he held me in his arms.
"You really think I'm the ghost of Josephine?"
"No. But I know you call upon on the names from the dead, they get summoned by them." I told her as the candles blew out beside us, freaking her and the others out as I smirked.
"Hedwig! What are you doing here?" A ghostly male spoke, making her panic more.
"Wh-- what? Wh-- wh-- wh-- what's happening?" She stuttered out.
"You've angered the spirits of the house. They won't stop until you're finished." I continued.
"Leave this house, Hedwig! You are not a true Hunter and never shall be! Nothing of mine shall ever be yours! Leave this house at once or dare to try me!" He shouted, making her rush out and soon Sal came in making me start to laugh as he laughed that it got everyone.
Once the others worked out what just happened, they were relieved and started to laugh as well.
"I knew it was you the whole time." Max stated making us all give him a look at that before he looked at me. "Also, what were you thinking fighting her?"
"Beat her up so she'd leave. Just didn't expect her to grab my arm so soon." I explained before he shook his head before helping me up.
We lit up the room as much as we could and Tess and Daniel even relit the candles that were in the room so we could properly look around at the things. Of course the main thing that had our focus was the mannequin in an old dress.
"This must be Josephine's secret room." Tess pointed out.
"She looks exactly like the Josephine I saw in the hallway." Anika revealed.
"Maybe there's something in here that could tell us who Josephine's one true love was."
"Maybe the question isn't who was her one true love but what, like Sav had voice out a few times." Max explained as he moved a bit closer and moved her necklace to reveal a box shape in the chest of the mannequin.
He pulled the box lid down and showed a small box hidden away in it, and when he opened that. He revealed a big blue diamond to us.
"Well that's one mystery solved." I stated.
