"Your late!" I immediately covered my ears when I heard Ica's nagging.

"You're mad again." I should not have said that, she was quick to give me death glares that sent shivers to my spine. Oh ghad, this woman is scary. "I-I mean, you look good t-today." I still want to make this wedding peaceful.

"Take a sit." She pointed seriously at the chair in front of the table that is full of makeup products.

"Ica, I am not a fan of makeups . Can we just skip-" I halted when I saw her looking at me fiercely.

She really is a dragon, just like she will always say.

"We need to make you presentable." She even scanned me from head to toe.

I consciously looked in the mirror to see if something was wrong with me.

"Mukha naman akong presentable." Pagtatanggol ko sa sarili ko because she is bullying me.

"Believe me, you are not, and I can't let you go there with Cara looking like that. You can't even tie your necktie properly." Ica appears more stressed than she did previously. That's why I decided to sit down and let her do what she wants.

Ayoko siya magalit, nakakatakot.

After she finished doing my makeup, I was slightly shocked when I looked in the mirror, and yeah, it is true, I don't look presentable like I did a while ago.

"Wow... thank you, Ica. I really don't know what to do without you." I want to give her a hug, but this girl quickly pushes me away.

"Now you look like a company owner and an artist. Let's go, the wedding will soon start." She dragged me before I could ever react.

We reach the venue of the wedding, I want to go to people that I know to have a chat, but the wedding is soon starting, and the coordinator asks us to go to our respective places. I followed Cara in front.

It is Jill and Cara's wedding day.

Cara asked me to stand with her in front, just like a best man would.

"Hey, relax. Kinakabahan din ako sayo eh." Awat ko kay Cara na hindi mapakali habang nagkatayo.

Nakaupo na ang ibang bisita, and lahat sila ay nakatingin kay Cara. Sa tagal naming magkasama ni Cara, this is the first time I saw her this nervous.

"She will not run, right?" She asked me nervously.

My mouth fell open, and I unbelievably looked at her. Of all times, na mag-iisip siya ng ganyan ngayon pa?

"Cara, remember na inunahan ka na niya mag-propose. That only means she is ready to spend a lifetime with you." I tapped her shoulders and fixed her female tux.

"Kasalanan ni Faustino to." She blurted out.

"I told you, don't always believe him." Fausti and his never-ending jokes, na minsan akala mo nga totoo. "That guy is just bitter because he is single."

We both laughed because of what I said, and I can imagine Fausti's reaction every time we tell him he is single and will be single forever.

"Thank you, Ivan. Salamat dahil pumayag ka na samahan ako dito sa unahan."

"This is nothing compared to everything you did for me." Remembering all the moments that she fought for me when I couldn't fight for myself makes me emotional. "Congratulations Cara, finally! After years of waiting you're now building your own family."
