"Ghad, these papers are not ending. Don't tell me, Echo, we have more?" I sarcastically asked my secretary, who was busy arranging the documents in front of me.

"Oh, you're really smart to realize that. We have a lot more reports coming." Then he gives me his cheeky smile.

"Echo!" I blurted out in annoyance when I saw his smile. "You should have signed it when I was away."

But this guy shakes his head. "I believe you should review it as well before it can be signed."

He was authorized to sign documents while I was away. Well, you can say I trust this guy so well.

Echo has been a secretary of mine ever since I started to take over the company. He was originally working for Ica's family, but since I can't easily find someone to be my secretary, Ica's was kind enough to let Echo work for me, and so far, thanks to him, I am getting the hang of everything and have easily learned things I need to handle the company.

We grew closer to each other since he was like an older brother, to the point that sometimes bullying each other is already normal.

"Or you did it on purpose so you can bully me. It's been a week at mukhang hindi pa rin natatapos itong mga ito." I said, pointing at the papers in front of me.

"Halata ba?" He is not even denying it.

"You're too much." I snickered.

"You're so loud." He rebutted.

"You're so mean."

"Review and sign the documents already." Turo niya sa mga papel sa harap ko.

"It is too many." I whined again.

"Well, that's what you get from suddenly going to Australia without notifying us." Ica walked inside my office. She's wearing very formal office attire and looks so serious and done.

She's not in the mood? Ang aga nanaman niyang galit.

"Mosh! How's the business trip?" I rose from my seat to welcome my friend, who just came home from the business trip that I should have attended, but since I was not around, she was the one who went on my behalf.

Our Ica really loves me.

"AH!" I immediately took a few steps back when she hit my arm so hard.

MASAKIT!

"What was that for?" I asked while scanning my arm.

"That's for leaving without informing us." Then she hit me again, this time in the shoulder. "That's for staying there for a month! Making me attend your goddamn meetings! And reviewing the contracts you should have signed before leaving the country!" Then, for the last time, she hit me again.

I quickly ran to hide behind Echo. Ang sakit ng hampas ng dragon na to!

Dahan dahan naman akong sumilip kay Ica na mukhang kumalma na.

"Hindi ka na galet?" I ask her while still hiding behind Echo.

"Hindi na." Maikling sagot niya, but those were enough to make my eyes widen. Did I hear it right?
