FIONA's POV
I wore a purple button-down shirt, a black ruffled skirt slightly above my knees and black shoes. I had the feeling Louis was going to come today. After ten minutes I rushed to the door when I heard a knock. Louis was dressed in green sleeves, black ironed trousers with chukka boots "Hello" I waved, saying nothing for a while.
"I-I was wondering if maybe we can... hang out sometimes" He bowed his head with a shy smile "I-I understand if you have other things to do" Louis rubbed the back of his neck. "It's fine," I answered quickly.
...
We entered a garden with a billboard that said 'petals of love' . I heard about it from my colleagues and I've seen it a few times on the television so I supposed it was a new place.
Different species of flowers glittered beneath the daylight in colorful shades of the rainbow. The fragrance had a nostalgic aura.
"This place is beautiful" I whispered, taking in every detail of the petals and leaves, "I knew you'd like it," he said in the same volume.
We got to a hill cemented with fresh green grasses, the view of the sun was fantastic, I took off my shoes to feel its softness below my feet. I closed my eyes and took in clean air, my hair followed the direction of the wind.
I darted my eyes as I felt the close presence of someone, Louis placed a silver hair and on my head "Take good care of this one," my ears tingled as he spoke.
I nodded then turned to him "W-when do you plan to leave Diadora again?" he stared with eagerness in his oceans "When I achieve my goal of coming" My heart skipped a beat as I wondered if we were on the same page.
"Am I still qualified for that?" he bowed his head a bit "I-I guess so" I said in a low tone. "I'm not convinced, prove it" Louis arced a brow.
I pulled his collar and slipped in, kissing him passionately, my body was on fire as he dragged my waist then sucked my lips hungrily, with emotions of fear, happiness and relief.
Louis pulled back, staring into my eyes, ich apart "You tormented me for so long, I-I was afraid of being rejected again, we're good?" he flashed a smile "Yeah," I said.
We watched the sunset together on the warm grass "It's just like the first time we did our class project" Louis turned to me "Yeah, I remember"
"Flowers are overrated, they should not be painted" I teased in his voice, his dimple poking out as he laughed hard.
"Wow, is this place always like this?" I looked around, "Nope, I might have booked today for us" Louis shrugged with a naughty smile, "Aww... that's sweet" I traced two fingers on his chest.
"Oh I'm just warming up" Louis pulled me closer, my eyes darted to the back of his ears, there was a small staroon tattoo, the currency of Magnolia, I wondered if it was new or if I never noticed.
Louis chuckled, "Yeah, I got two new tattoos." My eyes opened as I remembered the rumor in high school, "Do you like it?" his question broke my train of thought "Hmm... maybe we should get one together if you want"
I never guessed Louis would suggest this idea, it's not weird, right? But I liked the sound of that "Yes, I like it" His eyes brightened like a puppy.
We laced our fingers and watched the sunset, the cool breeze enveloped us.
...
I couldn't stop thinking about the fun we had and the upcoming tattoo date. I admired his confidence and determination, everything was going smoothly now he was here—except for my sanity.
I picked a white poker dot tank top, pink shorts and white sneakers, it's easier to get it done. I flew to the doorknob as I sensed his footsteps. "Good morning, Louis" I flashed a grin, "someone's enthusiastic" he giggled.
My smile vanished when we got to the shop. Even my years of training couldn't stop me from being nervous. It was too late to run away.
Louis greeted a man, I assumed he was the tattoo artist with arms covered in illustrations. He gestured for us to sit, I looked around, tapping my fingers on my legs several times.
I flinched as Louis gave my hand a small squeeze, "It will be over before you know it" He gave me a reassuring smile.
"Is there a special type of tattoo you want?" Louis said, "I don't know, I'll get whatever you get" I replied, "I-It's a couple tattoo so it won't look exactly the same," he said shyly. It was like he read my mind. I've been dreaming of getting one with him but I was too embarrassed to tell him "Alright," I blushed.
"I'll go first, we're getting a yin yang and a key lock, is that okay?" I nodded & the tattoo artist started. I was even more nervous as I watched.
Louis got a yang tattoo at the back of his waist first, "Where do you want the other one?" the man said, Louis took off his shirt "Ribcage," he replied. I widened my eyes and gazed with red cheeks, I didn't know if I should stare at that body or the tattoos.
Louis had a medium-sized eagle at the back of his left shoulder and a small skull tree tattoo on his upper right arm, the rumors were partly true after all. Case closed by Detective Fiona.
