LOUIS' POV(previously)

I've been begging Fiona since morning but she keeps ignoring me and acting like I'm not even there, now it was closing time and she wouldn't glance at me for a second.

She was busy looking at the crowded people but mostly fixed on those moving to the exit. I knew she was going to leave me anytime soon.

She started walking to the door and I walked by her side but she didn't look at me.

Just as we were about to leave the school building a heavy downpour started.

Most of the students had their drivers park close to the building and their bodyguards escorted them with an umbrella.

Fiona just stopped probably waiting for the rain to reduce so that she can go home. When it lessened she tightened the grip on her backpack strap and started walking, as I watched her stroll towards the gate my eyes shifted to my black limousine that just drove in.

It stopped in front of the school and Nicholas came down from the front seat with a black umbrella even if the rain was just dropping.

"How was school?" Nicholas held the umbrella as we walked to the car.

Before I knew it Leo the chief guard led his troop and formed two straight lines by the door sides.

"Great" I replied, staring at their embarrassing formation.

When I got in Nicholas jammed the door and sat in the front seat, Mr. Richard greeted me and I just nodded.

When we drove out of the school the rain showered heavily. I tried occupying my mind with social media but all I could think about was Fiona walking under the rain. I tried to convince myself that she'd be alright and must have taken a cab by now.

"Stop the car" I raised my voice loud enough for Mr. Richard to hear immediately he pulled the break I grabbed an umbrella and sprinted into the streets.

I recalled the road she takes during closing hours and stopped as I saw a blonde in a blue and black striped jacket, a mid-thigh skirt of the same color, a black hose and black sneakers. She was shivering with hands wrapped around her.

I walked closer to her covering her with the umbrella which reduced her shaking, I took off my jacket and placed it over her shoulders which made her turn, Fiona stared into my eyes like a different person, she has never looked at me the way she did and I found myself staring into her bluish-grey eyes.

"Are you okay?" I had to ask because of the long stare she blinked, then nodded. I inwardly debated for a moment before stretching my hands to move strands of her hair to the sides and she didn't take her eyes off me for a second.

"Are you lost?" I asked, staring into her eyes and she shook her head then broke eye contact.

"Are you going home?" I asked again and she nodded pointing in the direction and I followed.

As we were walking I noticed the jacket slowly slipping from her shoulder. I wanted to tell her but waved off the thought and focused on the silence.

When she began to shiver slightly I couldn't take it anymore and pulled the jacket to fully cover her body. In the process the umbrella tilted and I was soaked in the rain then quickly adjusted the umbrella.

I closed my eyes as my body slowly adapted to its cold sensation and I heard a chuckle from Fiona. It was not long when I felt two small palms on my face drying the water and leaning closer as she got to my hair.

When I opened my eyes I couldn't help but smile at her and she gazed back at me, after quite a long time she darted her eyes back to the road and we maintained silence again.

I looked around as we entered a dark brown gate, there was a light brown colored two-story building, Fiona walked to the left and I stood under a shade next to her then closed the umbrella.

When I raised my head her eyes were locked on my damp shirt and I couldn't help to smile at her lost expression, her lips were parted as she lifted her head.

Fiona bowed her head slightly and raised it again then her cheeks turned red as she met my eyes and I chuckled lightly.

We were swallowed by the silence again, the rain was like a thunderstorm hitting the ground with loud splashes, it was a bit chilly as the breeze blew past us. I've been staring at Fiona who looked lost in the atmosphere, her eyes locked with mine and I thought she looks cute when looking like that.

My gazes lowered to her lips, I looked into her eyes then back to her lips her expression was unclear when I saw she didn't react I tilted my head leaning slowly towards her and parted my lips when we were an inch apart. I was about to kiss her.

"Achoo!" I withdrew as a tiny sneeze escaped her mouth then she sniffed.

"Make sure you have a warm bath and take something hot before you go to bed" I smiled and Fiona nodded with a weak smile.

Her smile disappeared soon and it looked like she was lost in thoughts. A loud horn interrupted us and we looked in its direction.

"Oops, they found me" I chuckled and glanced at her one more time then she smiled. I opened the umbrella and walked towards the gate.

"Oh! Louis, your jacket!" Fiona half-yelled and I looked back

"Keep it, you'd need it. You can return it tomorrow if you want" I waved and grinned widely at her before walking to the car.

"Are you crazy! Why did you run off like that?" Nicholas yelled and I rubbed my hurt ears

"Young Master, we looked everywhere for you, we were so worried" Mr. Richard sighed.

I raised the partition to avoid Nicholas' glare until we reached the house. I took a bath and had dinner and went for my lessons before going to relax on my bed.

I inhaled sharply as I turned and saw Nicholas with folded arms seated on the couch.

"Spill" he frowned, I tried to act like I didn't know what he was talking about and stared at him with my eyebrows creased.

"Let me rephrase... that girl you ran off to see"

"Who told you she's a girl?"

"I saw her"

"Well you saw wrong... leave me alone" I took my phone and acted like I was busy.

Nicholas was scowling at me then stood up after a while

"Fine! I'm leaving" he walked away and slammed my door.

I knew it would take just a video game to brighten his mood and I could take care of that later but now all I could think of was how Fiona was doing, I hesitated before touching the call button, I was getting worried when she didn't pick and I tried again.

After talking to her I felt happy and comfortable then I began to recollect all that happened and a smile appeared on my face as I remembered how gentle Fiona looked today.

After a while, I switched off the lights to sleep.
