FIONA's POV
The castle was on the verge of collapsing due to their screams. Cyan was on the floor gasping for air. Ash's eyes formed a heart as she did her happy scream. Raven froze staring at both of us continuously, Iceberg forehead read 'rebooting'"I swear, y'all are dramatic," I said. They went back to their former positions.
"Humans and mystic people?" Raven said.
"Crazy, huh?" I said.
Ash shoved Raven with her shoulder, "Skip to the good part, why didn't you tell us you had a handsome husband," she wiggled her eyebrows then Louis smiled.
"No one asked?" I said.
"My life was all a lie! Why is this happening?" Cyan then glared at Louis "Humans are indeed cunning and selfish."
He turned to me like he was asking if Cyan had a problem with him, "Ignore him, he's usually like this," I said. Cyan melted in embarrassment.
We jumped as the table thundered, a pile of books was beside Louis, "Hi, I'm your biggest L-elevator! I hope you don't mind signing my magazines," Iceberg said shyly.
Louis looked at him in surprise, "em, sure, are they all yours?" Iceberg nodded and sat next to him.
Louis darted, "Wow, Fiona, you didn't tell me I was popular around here," he said.
"Don't get so full of yourself," I giggled.
Of course, he'd be popular, most mystic people lived in the human world for a decade or more. It's possible they followed celebrity news. I wondered if the guards arrested him because he was a well-known businessman.
I was shocked that Iceberg had the full collection of his magazines. He gazed with sunshine and rainbows in his eyes as Louis signed more than fifty books nonstop.
I tip-toed to sit with Raven on the opposite side.
"I wish you good luck as the new CEO," Iceberg looked like he wanted to have a conversation but didn't know how to.
"Thank you," Louis muttered without losing concentration.
Iceberg paused for a while, "Do you have a favorite tree?"
Louis shook his head, "I love all trees."
After he was done, Ash served more tea as we relaxed and had some side talks.
Louis darted to his watch, "It's time for me to go. Thanks for your hospitality, please take care of my wife," he said.
"Aww, you're leaving already?" Ash said with puppy dog eyes.
"You won't attend the festival?" Raven said.
"Nah, maybe next time" Louis waved.
"Thanks for signing my magazines," Iceberg waved.
"Goodbye Mr. Perfect, a.k.a I have it all," Cyan murmured.
"See you at home," I smiled. Louis held the back of my waist and pressed a kiss on my lips, "Yeah, you too cupcake." He grabbed the suit on the chair then walked away.
When I turned Raven and Ash looked at me with big doe eyes, Cyan was on the floor sobbing while Iceberg's mouth was slightly opened. This is one crazy family.
...
The people gathered in front of the castle to celebrate the Lavender night festival, I walked through the door with my ambassadors.
"Good evening mystic people, I want to thank everyone for their cooperation, without you guys we won't be gathered here," I paused as the people cheered.
"The purpose of this festival is for us to celebrate and have fun with our loved ones under the purple night sky. If this becomes a huge success we might bring up more festivals in the future." I said.
"I declare this party open! Enjoy yourselves," the people clapped louder with smiling faces.
The Elevanas swung on vines, serving the orders while the Glorindians walked.
Different genres of music were played due to our different tastes. Most Glorindians enjoyed rock and pop while the Elevanas liked more classical music.
After the party, we sat on the tender grass, watching the bright purple sky. I missed looking at the lavender clouds. Our crescent moon outshone the stars, it looked like it was dipped in a glitter box. The enchanted night sky was one of the beauties of the mystic world.
...
It was a few days after the party when an air dominant Elevana hurried into the castle and fell to his face breathless. "Your Highness, something is wrong with my daughter, please help me," he said.
I stood up and rallied the ambassadors. "Cyan, Iceberg, come with me. Raven, Ash, watch the palace." I said.
The Elevana led us to his house. The air dominant Elevanas are the rarest, the females wear crop tops and double-slitted long skirts while the men wear the white attire of the male Elevanas.
They are the only mystic people that can fly. Their houses are in the clouds, most of them hardly come down to earth.
I was crestfallen when the sick child was the first person to believe in me, without her I doubt people would have stood up for me. She did not give up on me and I wouldn't either.
We placed our hands above her and pushed air energy into her body, the parents added theirs but it didn't change anything.
"Impossible, even with the strength of a Salvin?" I muttered.
"Did you check for a cure in Yindila?" I said.
"Yes, nothing worked," He said.
Yindila was a special garden, its herbs could treat illnesses.
"Isn't there any other place I can find medicine?" I said rhetorically.
Her mother stared wide-eyed, she looked at her sides then locked the windows and bolted the doors.
She sat close to me and said, "The Frost King."
