FIONA's POV
Everyone darted to her, It was crickets for a long time."It's a nice idea but we should focus on bigger problems, don't you think?" I said.
Raven stood, "People complained about the pollution caused by my race, we should provide healthy substitutes," she said.
"For the housing pollution, Elevanas can sleep on tree branches while Glorindians should live in a tree house," Iceberg muttered. I wasn't sure if he was speaking to us or himself.
"Thanks, anyone else?" I said.
Cyan posed like a superhero, "In the past we received complains about the Glorindians overworked, we should split it, If Glorindians cook, Elevanas do the dishes"
I thought he was going to say something weird but he made sense, "Yes, Cyan, thanks."
The sound of a light snore filled the atmosphere, Ash's neck tilted on the chair, almost falling off.
Raven tapped her, "Ash, wake up," she was deep inside fantasy land. It was a hectic day, we all needed rest, "Thanks everyone, let's call it a wrap," I said.
Poor Raven had to carry Ash on her back, they went to their rooms after we said our goodbyes but I had to give the people feedback.
I climbed the stairs to the balcony, the vegetation and inhabitants stretched across the horizon.
I sent a general message to the Glorindians via telepathy and crystal for the Elevanas.
They gathered together within minutes.
"Hello, everyone, I want to thank you for your patience, we made a few suggestions to benefit all races," I explained the ideas, the majority approved so we took it before we dispatched.
When the sun was going to bed then it dawned on me, "Louis! I forgot." I jumped from the balcony into the portal.
Elevanas can reach a mile in one jump but Glorindians will race that in seconds.
It was in the afternoon, my safest option was running. It took half an hour to reach Magnolia.
I grabbed the balcony beam and threw myself over, I landed on my feet.
The room was properly arranged, Louis should be at home, he could be anywhere in the house, where would I start? Or maybe he went out.
I darted to the door, the racing footsteps were louder. Louis burst it open, he breathed like he was chased by mountain lions.
"Fiona," he sighed and squeezed the life out of me, "I was so worried, what took you so long?" he said.
"I'm sorry. You're not gonna believe what happened," I pulled back and grinned.
We settled on the bed and I narrated everything.
"Oh," he said. "So, what will you do?" he shielded his emotions with a smile—something he has always been good at.
He laced his shaking fingers then cleared his raspy voice like I wouldn't notice, "I understand if you want to move back to your world, it's okay,"
He looked like he could die any minute, I held his hand with a sigh, "Louis, look at me" I turned his face, "You're my world, home is where you are. I'll never abandon you again"
I hyperventilated as his arms slid around my waist, pulling me flush against him. His tongue swept between my parted lips, the heat increased as he glued himself to me. I blushed at our closeness, my heartbeat louder than bombs.
I couldn't understand my reaction, it's not the first time we've been this close, no? This was different.
Louis' hand moved down my body, desperate to find a silver bare skin. I shivered as his fingers brushed against my leg, then my thigh.
Our clothes were tangled up, the noise of ecstasy lasted for hours until exhausted. He tumbled into the bed and pulled me against his chest, I sighed with contented bliss as I slipped into a deep, snug sleep.
...
I woke up with my hair looking like a rose bush, "what's the time?" I groggily rubbed my eyes and yawned. Clips of last night flashed in my head, I dabbed my burning red cheeks.
I grabbed my robe on the bedside table and walked to the bathroom, my lips were a bit swollen and a few love bites were on my shoulders and neck region.
My eyes widened at the jacuzzi, it was filled with red rose petals and candle lights, I grinned, "Aww, you didn't have to."
I dried my hair and took a white hoodie that caught my eye in his wardrobe.
"Chloe, is Louis at home?" I said.
"This way, Fiona," she said.
Louis gazed out the window as he fed Mint in the dining room, he didn't notice my surprise attack "Good morning!" I jumped on his back then kissed his cheek.
"Good morning, I made pancakes," he said.
"You're the sweetest," I said.
Louis and Mint were by my side as I ate breakfast, I couldn't ask for anything better. We had a casual chat then it became quiet again.
The mischievous glint in his eyes grabbed my attention, "Chloe, change the sheets, we're about to make a mess," he said.
"What mess?" I said.
Louis threw me over his shoulder like a rice sack, "You're about to find out."
