(8) Full of Love

••Jen's POV••
9:12am

I wake up with Maddie still in my arms, soundly asleep.

I slightly move, taking a picture of her with my phone.

"Are you going to feed me or nah?" Maddie says cracking a smile as she opens her eyes.

I laugh, "Would you like some waffles?" I get up, stretch and walk towards the kitchen.

"Sure. " Maddie yawns as she slowly stands and follows me.

"Hey, um J--I mean mom," I glance over to see Maddie blush, "I was wondering when I was gonna meet your family. "

"Well," I pause, "I always try to visit often, so you will meet them in a few weeks. " I stop and look at her, "Why do you ask? That's sorta random."

"Oh, well it's just been on my mind for a bit. " She sits down at the counter.

I nod my head, understanding, "Would you mind if Josh could come over and hang out with us?" I bite my lip.

"Sure. " She wiggles her eyebrows, "You really like him, don't you. "

I look up, shocked, "Well, yeah. Of course I do. "

She smiles, starts to giggle, stands and says, "I'm gonna go take a shower before breakfast. "

••Maddie's POV••

I trudge up the stairs, despite my having over ten hours of sleep last night, I'm extremely tired.

I turn the shower on cold and hop in, immediately I'm awake. I wash my sandy blonde hair, which is now a little past my shoulder blades.

When I'm done, I dry off and put on Nike shorts and a t-shirt.

I brush my hair and then let it hang down so it can air dry.

I walk down the stairs and find Jen--well, mom--cuddling with Josh on the couch.

He sees me come down and says, "Mornin sunshine." I almost laugh, he sounds like a hick.

I eat my breakfast, watching the love birds whisper to each other.

I finish and go upstairs, to watch tv without having them worry about making out in front of me, which I don't think they care. I mean the least they could do is wait till I'm out of the room.

Anyways I turn on Netflix and start watching this show called Gossip Girl.

It's pretty good, so I sit back, relax, and watch.

••Jens POV••

"What are you doing today?" I ask, looking into Josh's gorgeous eyes.

"This." He leans in for a kiss as I get butterflies in my stomach.

He makes me feel so....special.

"Well I promised Maddie I would go to set with her today. " I say, staring at his smile.

"Yeah she seemed upset that you weren't there yesterday. " He lifts up his head and leans on his elbow.

"I think she has attachment issues." My voice cracks.

"She probably does. Jen, she finally has the mother she was never given before. The one who she deserves. " He rubs my hand, trying to make me feel better.
