Just next week we would be leaving. I had a bag or two packed with some clothes and the other with some essentials. My apartment has been looking sad recently. Billie had been doing interview after interview. I could tell it was draining her. Shit even Arlo missed her. I could tell by the way he whines when she FaceTimes.

I wasn't able to see her for about four days now. She was in another part of California.  It was embarrassing, how much I missed her. I mean i woke up sad she wasn't here. And I slept sad she wasn't here.

But today I would be surprising her. Today was the last day of interviews, I told her I had made plans with my friends which I could tell pissed her off. A small price to pay.

I also had a small little baby gift. It was so stupid but I think she would appreciate it, and that's what I care about.
