"Let me drive dragon". I pleaded holding my hands about to get on my knees. "Fine". What did she say?

She smiled at me with her eyes closed. "Wait you're not fucking with me"? I doubtfully implied. With a Soft shake of her head I jumped with joy as she handed me the keys.

Dragon was her dream car. It was very her. The color and the model everything screamed her.

I sat on the driver's side. Before I moved anything I asked for her permission. I was a couple of inches taller than her. Okay maybe closer to half a foot but still my legs didn't fit comfortably.

"Now you can be my passenger princess" She grabbed my hand placing it on her lap. That shit stayed there.

I drove us to the same place we had our first date. I simply bought us some Taco Bell before coming here that way we could spend more time together instead of having to wait for food at a restaurant. With a blanket from my house on the floor, the sounds of the river next to us. Everything was perfect.

I grabbed my supreme wrap and added all that sauce because I liked a little spice to my food. "How are your burritos"? I said with my mouth filled to the brim. When I didn't get a response I looked up. Billie's face was stuffed with food but her face was red and her eyes glazed with tears.

"Aww baby, don't cry". I scooted closer to her wrapping my arm around her. "Don't cry please, 'cause then ima cry". I could feel the lump in my throat slowly coming up and then get stuck there. When the first tear was shed, it was over from there. We were both crying, holding each other.

We were just there, just us two. Not a whole crowd of people singing her lyrics, not her parents, not my mom, not our friends, nobody was around us. Just us two. "I'm gonna miss you so much". She cried through hiccups. "I won't be gone very long maybe just a month. I'll call you every night and every morning". I reassured her. There is always this look in her eyes. Like she admires me or something and that is something I will never fully understand.

"Now eat your burrito before it gets cold". She lay in between my legs sniffing as she ate her burrito. We had less than thirty minutes before we had to head back to the tour. I was excited to witness my friend's reaction to Billie's performance.

"Holy shit Y/n". Omar's mouth was wide open as Billie dropped to her knees. I slowly closed his jaw. Ellie had to do the same with her friend. Sandy just stood there her mouth still wide open. "See something you like"? I joked. I felt super proud. Of Billie of course but also that I got to pull someone like Billie. To this day I do not understand how.

Someone's finger rubbed my cheek. It was Zoe. "I'm sorry", I tried laughing it off. "It's okay babe. It's okay to cry". And so I did. I cried because I wasn't going to get to be stuck next to her every waking second of the day. "I'll be here for her so you don't worry one bit"? She questioned worried about me.
