We went everywhere from North Carolina to New York. This all felt like a really cool fever dream.

Sadly Claudia was right. Tours are the easiest place to get sick. I had laid on this bus during the concerts for the past two. It was terrible. I could hear the fans and the music slightly but it was nothing like being in that room.

"Hey, you want some food". One of the hand assistant people asked. "Nah man let me do some work. I'm dying of boredom here". He smiled and nodded. "I can get you working man".

I was up in the sound studio, where the view was beyond magical. But they let me play around with the lights. "This is cool as shit". He smiled teeth and all. "My name is Travis but people call me Tray".

"I wanna know the story behind that". He shook his head. "It's stupid man, not even worth telling". He sat down and I followed his lead. "I do gotta get some food in you 'cause you're looking mighty skinny my girl".

"Who sent you? My mom". A soft laughter filled the air. "Nah but these venues make a lot of food and the crew barely eats it". He convinced me. So after a little longer of playing around with the lights we walked to the cafeteria. This place even had its own cafe person.

"Let's get some liquids in you". I smiled as he placed the small bowl of soup onto my tray. "Thank you". There was a huge selection. Mac and cheese. Omelettes. Chicken wings. Lots of salads. And lots of pasta.

I moved along the table and scooped some of what I wanted and kept moving along. There was a dessert section and I eyed that for a while before deciding not to. "You got a good selection".

I felt my phone ring and opened it up real quick. "Hello, darling". I smiled at her face on my screen. "Where are you"? She whined and I told her my exact location. "Oh, my god look at all this food". Not even two minutes later Billie had found me and was serving herself. "How are you feeling today"? She asked placing her hand on my forehead. "Much better". Lied.

"Yeah right". You're pale". I shook my head. "I just haven't gotten enough sunlight. But tray here is gonna take me somewhere". The poor man was just eating but he caught on. "Yeah we're gonna go around the town".

"You're supposed to be in bed". She glared at me. "I'm bored in bed". I placed my hand on her thigh. "Fineee But watch a little of the show".

With that agreement, she ate some of the food on my plate which was expected. "Where are we gonna go"? He asked me. I shrugged as I scooped more of that Mac and cheese into my mouth. "No clue". I paused to think as he cleared out the table "I could go to a bar or something". I said quietly. My throat felt scratchy. Like hollow but inflamed an impossible thing I know but I felt it.

-

"Come on sit up, you're burning baby". I groaned not being able to open my eyes. "What time is it". I saw with worry in my tone. "six". Maggie said as she placed my arm over her shoulder. "Okay don't tell Billie, she'll worry". I said with a serious tone. I could feel her standing me up but for some reason I felt like I was floating. "Come on let's get you to the doctor".

There was a doctor on board on the bus at all times.

I closed my eyes fully no longer trying to keep them open. I felt something dripping down my face, it was cold. "She will be just fine, I'll give her something slightly stronger than average aspirin, and ill get her some fluids along with some cold medicine. It's just a really bad cold". He explained in a calm tone. "I'm cold". I started and their attention was finally on me. "No hun, no blankets, you're at a 102 fever, more and we have to take you to the hospital". I groaned feeling a body-numbing headache.

"Get some rest hun". I felt her hand on my cheek. I rested on it.

-

"Billie she's okay she's just resting".
