Faith, Hope and Love

Chapter 12

Julia took the seat adjacent to her daughters. Faith, Hope and Love.
Sino ang mag-aakalang sa loob ng isang araw, nabunyag ang lahat? Sino ang makakapag-sabing planado ang lahat? Ang gusto lang ni Julia ay malaman ang dahilan ni Hope, malaman kung bakit nya ginawa ang mga bagay na makakasakit sa kanya physically.

As mother, hurting her child is out of her vocabulary. She didn't mean to hurt Hope emotionally and mentally. Never and never will. But now, hindi nya alam kung kakayanin pa ni Hope kung sasabihin nya lahat sa kanila. Hindi sa ayaw nyang ipaalam, she just need more time to sort things out and gather more courage to tell them. Pero lahat ay hindi umayon sa mga gusto nyang mangyari. And doesn't have escape from this.

"Are you sure na gusto nyong pag-usapan 'to ngayon, Hope? Love?" Faith asked them. Love and Hope turned their head to face Faith.

"Too much lies in this family, hindi pa ba enough 'yon para malaman namin lahat, Ate? Bakit? Why does it feel like you're not bother? Alam mo na ba?" Hope replied and asked.

Julia cleared her throat, her daughters faced her. Hindi na nya hihintayin pang magkagulo ulit ang mga anak dahil lang sa mga nalaman.

"May pumunta saking babae. She told me she's pregnant. She's one of your father's so-called girlfriend when we were in States. Sinabi nyang si William ang Tatay ng dinadala nya. Gusto nyang magkaroon ng ama ang anak nya kaya sya lumapit sakin. –" She narrates everything to them, details to details.

"Maghihiwalay po ba kayo ni Daddy?" Love asked. Hope pressed her lips as she bowed down her head. Faith eyed her mother. Julia gulped.

"I don't know, Love. Hindi ko pa alam." Her replied. Hope breaths heavily as she formed her hands into first. Love suppress her tears.

"I'm sorry, hindi ko intensyon na itago sa inyo. Pero kung meron mang dapat na magpaliwanag sa inyo ng lahat, Daddy nyo 'yon. Hindi ako. Alam kong nagagalit rin kayo sakin dahil hindi ko agad sinabi pero hindi nyo ako masisisi kung ginusto kong ayaw ko kayong masaktan. Pero hindi ko rin naman mapipigilan, I can't control your feelings, and I cannot invalidate what you would feel. I'm sorry if you had to face all of this. Kung kaya ko lang na baguhin ang lahat, gagawin ko 'wag lang kayong masaktan. 'wag lang masira 'tong pamilya nating 'to. Pero hindi eh, nangyari na ang lahat at wala na akong magagawa pa para baguhin 'yon." Julia swallowed all of her emotions.

Hindi nya pwedeng ipakita sa kanilang tatlo na nanghihina at nahihirapan rin sya. Hindi nya pwedeng iparamdam sa kanilang wasak na wasak na ang puso nya dahil sa mga nangyayari.

"You don't have to say sorry, Ma. Ginawa mo lang po ang sa tingin mo ay tama, at kung ano ang makakabuti para sa amin." Faith replied, she sly a small smile and gazed the two.

Love harshly wiped her tears that's fell from her own eyes. Hope swallowed, chest rose up and down as she breaths heavily.

William ran inside their house's premises as fast as he can. His family was a bit surprised but their faces says that he is not welcome inside.

"Faith –" He uttered, catching his breath.

Unaware that his two other daughters already knew his secret. Nabaling ang tingin ni Julia kay Hope at Love. May diin at sakit ang bawat titig ng mga anak sa ama.

"I-I'm sorry kung biglaan ang pag dating ko, Juls. Pero gusto ko lang kausapin si Faith, kayo na rin Hope, Love." He said as he walks closer to them. Faith took a deep sigh, Hope looked at him blankly, Love looked at him with angst and pain.

"Please." He pleads, his eyes were tired and exhausted, pleading and sorry. Kulang nalang ay lumuhod sya sa harap ng buong pamilya nya para pakinggan lamang sya ng mga ito.
