Faith, Hope and Love

Chapter 26

Nakarating sila Faith, Hope at Love sa ospital sa oras na binigay ni Katie kay Faith. Lumapit sila sa isang babae, sa sekretarya ni Katie na naghihintay sa kanila.

"Ate Lilay!" Sabay silang napalingon nang may tumawag sa sekretarya ni Katie. Faith held her breath whilst Hope and Love just stood right there. Nakita na nila si Analyn sa picture na pinakita ni Faith kamakailan kaya nakatitig na lamang sila kay Analyn.

"Oh, Dra. Analyn!" Lilay smiles at Analyn.

"Ate, nandyan na po ba si Meh? May nakalimutan kasi ako sa bahay kanina eh, kaya pinadala ko nalang sa kanya. Busy po ba sya?" She asked with a sweet smiles on her lips.

"Yes, dok! Nandyan na pero wala naman syang nabanggit na may pinadala ka. Pero don't worry, dok! Ihahatid ko sayo mamaya, ihahatid ko lang muna sila sa opisina ng Mommy mo." Lilay told which Analyn gave them a genuine smile and greets them. They then bade goodbye.

"Pasensya na po kayo, anak po ni Ma'am Katie 'yon, si Dra. Analyn. Only child pero mabait 'yon. Namana nya sa parents nya." Lilay shared to them. Faith just mummed. Love nods.

"Bakit only child lang sya?" Hope asked, Lilay smiled.

"Na-operahan kasi si Ma'am Katie noon. Hindi naman na tago 'yon dito sa ospital. Halos lahat ng mga nagtatrabaho at nagtrabaho dito, alam kung bakit nag-iisang anak lang si Dra. Analyn." Lilay replied as she leads them out of the lift. Hope then just mummed.

Lilay knocked on the door and opened it for them, she then motioned them to come in which they did.

"Hi! Please come in." Katie greets them with a smile. She then looked at Lilay.

"Thanks, Lalaine! Nga pala, paki bigay naman 'to kay Analyn. Baka kanina pa nya hinihintay eh. And please, order us some foods and drinks." Katie then told Lilay and handed her the thing that Analyn asked her. Lilay smiled.

"Nagkita nga po kami, Ma'am. Sige po, iwan ko na po kayo." Lilay replied.

Hope was stunned as soon as she saw Katie. Love blinks many times. Katie smiled at them.

"I know what you are thinking." Katie uttered. Faith then faked a cough.

"Uhmmmm, Mrs. Benitez. Si Hope at Love po, mga kapatid ko." Faith said. Katie walk closer to them, she then motioned them to take the seat on the couch.

"Hi, Hope, Love. My name is Katie. At alam kong nagtataka pa rin kayo kung bakit kamukha ko ang Mama nyo." She uttered. Hope swallowed.

"You really looks like her." She whispered. Katie smiled as she nods.

"I know." Katie replied.

Tila ba tumigil ang takbo ng orasan para kay Hope at Love. Hindi nila malaman kung paano sila lalabas sa sitwasyong hindi nila malaman kung ano. Gustong yakapin si Katie, iparamdam ang pananabik sa ina but their feet failed them.

"Mrs. Benitez, nasabi ko na po sa kanila kung bakit. Pasensya na po kayo, they just miss Mama so much. We all do po." Faith uttered when she noticed than Hope and Love was still stunned by Katie's presence. Katie smiled at her.

"It's okay, Faith. I understand. Sino ba naman ang hindi magugulat na kaharap ako." Katie replied.

"I-I'm sorry." Hope shuttered as she look away, avoiding Katie's gazes. She then looks at the pictures displayed on her office.

"That's okay." Katie replied.

"So! Nakausap ko na ang kaibigan kong investigator and he agreed. Gagawin nila agad ang imbistigasyon sa aksidente ng Mama nyo, and as your request Faith, nasabihan ko na rin sila na magiging confidential ang investigation. I also gave them the names na sinabi mo." Katie told them. Faith eyed her sisters. Hope and Love looks at Katie. She then eyed Katie again.
