Adorable Love: Adrinette April

{16. Alone Together}

Marinette was home alone for the weekend as her parents had gone out of town since her grandma had fallen ill and they both decided to visit her while Marinette was told to look after the bakery. There weren't many customers toady as she had closed early and her boyfriend came into the bakery. He went over to Marinette as they both hugged and she leads him upstairs to her bedroom where they both sat on the bed.

"Hey Adrien. What are you doing here?" Marinette asked as she didn't expect him to be here since she thought that he'd be busy with something but she was glad that he was here because she was getting bored at home by herself and she was going to call Adrien over. Though since he was already here, she didn't need to do that.

"I decided to come here since I've finished my schedule for the day and I wanted to hang out with you. By the way where are your parents? Have they gone out?" Adrien told Marinette as she told him that it was just them at home and her parents had gone out of town to visit her grandma who was sick. He hoped that her grandma would get better soon as she hoped so too and the two sat in silence for a couple of seconds before Marinette spoke up.

"So what do you want to do? Anything in mind?" Marinette asked Adrien as the two thought about things that they could do together and then Adrien had an idea. He suggested that they could watch a movie together as Marinette agreed with the idea and the two headed downstairs to the living room. They both sat down on the couch as Marinette put on the channel that showed movies only and there was one currently one so they decided to watch it.

Adrien placed his arm around Marinette as he gently pulled her closer to him and she rested her head on his shoulder while they continued to watch the movie. A few minutes passed as Adrien's stomach rumbled while Marinette was trying to fight the urge of laughing but she couldn't hold her laughter back and started to laugh. She eventually stopped laughing a couple seconds later after she saw Adrien pout at her as she apologised to him and she got up to get some snacks for them.

Marinette came back with the snacks as she puts them down on the small coffee table in front of them and she opened a bag of mini pretzels to share with Adrien. He takes some of the pretzels as he eats them one by one while they both continue to watch the movie and eat the snacks. They had finished eating the mini pretzels since they bag was medium sized as an hour passed and Adrien could hear faint snoring. He wondered if it was coming from the television but he glanced over at Marinette who had fallen asleep as he turns the television off with the remote and he grabs a blanket that was next to Marinette, placing it over them.

Adrien kissed Marinette's forehead gently as he closed his eyes before falling asleep and the couple slept peacefully together after having watched the movie. They were glad that they were able to spend some alone time together as they had a great time spending it with each other and they hoped they could share more moments like this in the future.
