Chapter 21 First time back home x whats going on

When I walked into the living room kehlani had people in the living room . I sighed , heading into the kitchen.

I heard a female ask kehlani a question . Then kehlani big head ass gone respond back with some petty junk .

Ayee yo kehlani who that I thought you was living alone .

{ Female 2 }
Yeah bruh wassup with her ?

{ female }
Yeah , you did say you leave alone

{ kehlani }
Yeah me too tuh , y'all let's go to my room .

I grabbed a water bottle walking out the kitchen laughing.

Kehlani and her friends looked at me as I sat on the arm of the chair next to the female with the all black on .

She looked me up and down for standing up .

I chuckled getting up walking to my room shutting my door . After about 12 minutes I walked back out the room dressed .

I had my hair pulled up in a messy bun with my bandanna around my head . I walked out the room closing my door . Looking down at my phone as I made my way down the hallway smiling .

I could hear laughing and talking . When I hit the corner they stopped talking . I continue too look down at my phone as I sat down next to the same female from earlier.

Hush kehlani she finna ask her ...

They said as I grabbed my shoes from beside the chair . I didn't even look up I could tell kehlani was staring at me .

My phone started ringing, I answered my phone smiling hard .

Yeah , I'm on my way just stay like that ight .

They started getting quiet looking at me . I kept talking putting my shoes on .

I hug up my phone fixing my shoes getting up out the chair , then I walked over next to kehlani.

I looked over in her direction mean mugging her .

It's Yvette who you ? Kehlani I need yo keys my car running low on gas I'm not go make it to where I'm going.

I turned around looking at her not ounce breaking eye contact. She got up walking to the kitchen her friends followed.

I grabbed my keys heading out the door . When I made it half way down the hallway I heard kehlani yell running down to me .

YO MAMA WAIT UP ... here bruh be gentle with my shit or imma fuck you up .

Mmcht ain't nobody finna fuck up your car . I'll be back DONT wait up .

I said slightly snatching her keys out her hand before head a couple steps into the elevator. She shook her head walking off before the elevator doors closed.

On my way down I received a text message from my coworker Jules . She wanted to know when I can come back to work for them .

Even though it's my business . They be running it like it's there's which I don't mind , I guess they have no idea .

I mean , Jules on the other hand might know but she doesn't know for sure .

I immediately texted her back . Letting her know  , I was going to come back .
