Chapter 60

Chase POV:
I wake to someone's lips on mine, I smile against them and open my eyes. "Morning," Alec says.
I laugh, "good morning to you too."
"My mom made breakfast," he says.
"Great." I get out of his bed and follow him down the stairs.
"Morning, Chase. Milk okay? Juice?"
"Do you have any coffee?" I ask sitting down.
"Uh, yeah, sure." She says pouring me a cup.
"Thank you," I blow on the drink.
"Yuck, how do you like that?" Alec asks scrunching his nose.
I laugh, "I started to drink coffee when I was 10."
"Why?" Molly asks.
I try to stop myself from sitting up straighter, I fail. "I've been learning my queen duties since I could walk."
"Really? How did you sneak out to meet Alec?" May asks, suddenly interested.
"I told them that I wanted to have some time to myself during the days." I say. "Told them I was going on walks, in the library..."
"You have a whole library?" Teddy asks.
I look at him surprised, "we do, and you can use it when ever you are at the castle."
He grins shyly and blushes a little too.
I look at the clock, it's 11:45. "I should get home soon."
Alec nods, taking my plate, "I'll walk you home."
"Alec, I need you to babysit." Molly says.
"Mom! I don't need a babysitter!" May exclaims.
"Hush," Molly says kissing her head. "Be home by one, Alec."
"I will." He says.
"Let me changed real quick." I say running up the stairs. I change into a flowy shirt and jeans with matching heals too.
I walk down the stairs, "thank you so much for letting me stay here."
Molly hugs me, "you're welcome anytime dear."
I hug May, "I'll see you soon."
"Can you take me shopping?" May asks.
"Sure," I smile.
Molly nudges Teddy, he hugs me awkwardly, "Alec can bring you to the castle and I'll show you the library."
"Thank you," Teddy says.
"Ready?" Alec asks.
"If you are," I say taking his hand.
"It was nice meeting you," Molly says.
"You too," I wave goodbye.
As we walk, we swing our hands back and forth laughing and giggling as we do.
"Hey, guys." Jack says running up to us. "How was Alec's, Chase?"
"Amazing, Teddy was pretty shy though."
Jack nods, "yeah, he's like that. Not with Mikey and Matt though, they're extremely obnoxious."
Alec laughs, "don't need to tell me, they almost found the pictures of me and Chase."
"SNEAK ATTACK!" A voice exclaims, I turn to see Erin jumping on Jack's back.
He stumbles but catches her. "Hey." He says turning his head to kiss her their lips connect in a deep, long-gross to watch-kiss.
"They've been like that ever since they..." he trails off.
I blush, Erin and I had talked about it... in great detail I might add.
"Shut up," Erin says hopping down from her boyfriend's back. "No we haven't."
"Please," Alec laughs rolling his eyes.
"Hey, Alec." A sweet voice says. I turn to see a pretty girl walking towards us.
Jack takes Erin's hand and pulls her close, Alec seems to step in front of her. As if she needed protection from the girl.
"Alec?" I ask him.
"So it is true?" The girl asks. "You're dating the princess."
I stand taller, "he is, what does that have to do with you?"
She glares at me, "I don't know why you're dating her, when you could be dating me..."
I push my hair behind my shoulders and set my hands in front of me, my mom says it makes me look powerful.
"I'm not dating you, Grace, because you are a horrible person, you are mean to Erin, I love Chase and you are a horrible person."
"This is the girl that is mean to you?" I ask Erin.
She nods, "yeah."
"Grace is it?" I ask.
She nods, and does a fake curtsy, "yes, Princess."
"You think you insult me but you really don't. I'm also the future queen, and I can make you do whatever I want."
Grace laughs, "really Alec? This is the girl you chose?"
Alec steps forward and shrugs, "I find power extremely attractive."
Grace rolls her eyes, "I'll see you around." She starts to walk away, then turns. "Oh and Erin? Tell your freak parents I said hello."
Erin tires to launch herself at Grace, Jack grabs onto her and pulls her back.
"You okay?" I ask them. They stare at me in awe. "What?"
"We've never seen you act like that." Jack says.
"Like what?" I ask.
"Like a queen..." Erin says.
I blush and look down, "that's what I am... I beat Charlie into the queen-ship by 5 minutes."
They're silent for a minute. "That's pretty impressive." Jack laughs.
I laugh along with him, "I guess. Shit, Alec what time is it?"
"12:15," he says.
"I'm late," I say I hug my friends quickly.
I take off my shoes and break into a run and of course... it's starts to rain.
"Chase! Slow down!" Alec yells.
"Alec I'm meeting the royal family from China! I can't be late! I'll see you later!"
When I finally get home I run to my parents office, completely forgetting what I'm wearing. "Mom, dad I'm so sorry I'm late!" I stop when I see the royal family, their children giggling.
"Your majesties," I curtsy.
The oldest bows, "princess. Taking a walk out in the rain?"
I glare at him, "sort of."
"Chase why don't you go change?" Mom suggests, "then you can show Noah around the castle?"
I nod, "I'll be right back."
I take off in a run to my bedroom. "Miss you're back! How was..." Jenny stops.
"It's raining outside..." I say.
She laughs, "come on, now. Let's get you changed."
They quickly help me get changed and dried. They put me in a long, tight purple dress with a slit up to my upper thigh.
"It's beautiful but don't you think it's a bit... showy?"
They laugh, "that's the point." Jenny says. "You should see what a man does when you show a little skin. Make the future king of China squirm a bit."
I giggle and put on the shoes, I stand and look in the mirror. "I love it, thank you."
"Now go." Holly says.
I knock on Noah's door, when he answers his eyes scan my body and pop out of his head.
"I'm your personal tour guide of the castle, I guess." I say.
He nods and offers me his arm. As we walk we mostly talk about politics and such when we get interrupted by a cry.
"Cory?" I say at the same time he says, "Lily?"
We run down the hall to see both of our siblings crying. "Cory, what's wrong?"
"Lily?" He asks.
"He pull my hair," Lily says.
"She push me down!" Cory exclaims.
I laugh, "Cory, she pushed you because you pulled her hair. That wasn't a very nice thing to do..." I say picking him up and standing.
"Chase!" Noah exclaims.
The room starts to spin, "yeah?"
"Your leg, it's bleeding."
"It is?" I ask.
"Ase?" Cory asks.
Noah's eyes widen and he takes Cory from me.
"What are you-" I stop when I see the floor approaching quickly.
