Chapter 62

Chase POV:
When I wake the next morning Charlie is lying away next to me. "Morning, Sissy."
She laughs lightly, "morning."
"I really am sorry for what I said yesterday... I didn't mean it. I just thought... if I tried to push you away it wouldn't hurt as much when you left..."
She nods, "I didn't mean it when I called you a... a bitch... I'm sorry."
I shrug, "we're sisters, we're bound to fight from time to time."
My maids walk in and see the two of us, they look surprised. "Your Highnesses. You're parents are looking for you as well as Prin-"
"Me," a voice says walking into my room.
"Xander!" Charlie exclaims running over to hug him. They kiss, a little to sloppily for my taste, but still making me ache for Alec.
"Hello, darling. Good morning, Chase."
"Mornin' Xander." I say pushing the covers back.
"Your parents told me you had a fight, all okay now?"
Charlie nods, "we're fine. What are you doing here?"
"Well, my mother was coming to get wedding details and my sister as well and I couldn't not come. I wouldn't be a very good fiancé if I didn't, would I?"
My sister giggles, "well I would certainly be a little mad. We picked the bridesmaids dresses! Do you want to see them?"
Xander laughs, "maybe after breakfast, my love."
She blushes, "right, breakfast... well let's go!" She pulls him out of my room and down to her's.
Jenny walks over to the bed, "how are you feeling miss?"
"Was our fight really that bad?" I ask quietly.
She nods, "I'm afraid so, miss. Many things were said that I know you or Miss. Charlie didn't mean..."
"I just don't want her to go, is all..." I sigh. "What's going on today?"
Holly helps me out of bed and over to the bathroom, "more wedding details, but since Prince Xander is here you might not have so much."
I nod and strip off my dress, "I think we might be looking at a wedding dress and Xander can't see so... but who knows maybe I'll have to do some business with Prince Noah or something."
Charlie POV:
"So, the wedding is coming up..." Xander says from the other side of the room, facing the wall while I change.
"Yes... is everything alright?" I ask. "You can turn around now." I say as I sit down for Suzy to pin back my hair.
"Well... for our honeymoon..."
I blush and nod, "what about it?"
"Well... where do you want to go? Anywhere you want, my love."
I giggle slightly, "gosh... I don't know... I haven't been many places but maybe somewhere warm, with an ocean too."
He kisses my cheek, "sounds lovely, darling."
"There you are, miss." Suzy says putting the last pin in my hair.
"Thank you, Suzy." I say standing and fixing my skirt.
She bows and goes off to clean the bathroom.
Xander takes my hand in his and we walk down to breakfast. "I'm so happy you're here."
"I am too," he smiles. "And just think, in a few weeks we'll be seeing each other every morning."
I nod, "just 10 weeks... wow..."
"Are you alright?" He asks worriedly.
I nod, "I only have 10 weeks left of living in my home... 10 weeks left of sleeping in my bed that I've had since I was 4..."
Xander nods, "it'll be hard, I know but that's the past, we'll have a future together. It's better to live in the future than in the past, don't you think?"
I stop walking and face him, "but the past is familiar and safe. The future is unknown and scary."
Xander takes both of my hands, "and I can't wait to face it with you. No matter what we face, we can get through it."
"What if we can't?" I ask, looking deep into his eyes.
He presses our foreheads together, "we will. You love me, don't you?" I bite my lip and nod. "And I love you. Just so long as we always know that we love each other." He kisses my nose and pulls away.
When we get to breakfast I remembered that we have the Royal family of China with us. I curtsy, "good morning. This is my fiancé Prince Xander of Italy."
Xander bows his head and smiles, "very nice to meet you all."
We sit down to eat, Chase, who is on crutches, comes in shortly afterwards. "Sorry, I am late." My dad gives her a look. "Charlie and I are also very sorry that we fought in front of you. It was improper and we are deeply sorry."
The king and queen nod and continue to eat.
Chase kisses my dad's cheek and sits down next to me and Cory.
"So, Princess Chase, when is your wedding?" The Queen of China asks.
Chase starts coughing on her food, "what? Oh, Charlie is getting married, not me."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
I wave her off, "don't worry about it, our mother still does it."
"I most certainly do not," my mom says sternly.
"Yes, you do." Chase and I scold at the same time, we look at each other and laugh.
"Our wedding is in 2 months and 2 weeks." Xander says taking my hand.
"Oh, mom, I just remembered. I have a dress fitting today, can you come?"
She smiles, "I wouldn't miss it for the world."
*few hours later*
Chase POV:
I come out of the dressing room in the bridesmaid dress and do a quick spin. "Well? What do you think?"
"You look wonderful, darling. Stunning." My mom says. "Are they all going to be purple?"
"No," Charlie says. "Chase's is purple and Molly's is wearing Orange and Astra is in magenta."
Molly, Xander's little sister, comes out in her dress. "How does it look?"
I pull her to the mirror, "you look beautiful."
She blushes and looks down, "thanks."
"Can I come out?" Charlie asks.
"Yes!" We all exclaim, tired of waiting.
She comes out, smiling huge. "Well?"
I rush over to hug her, "you look beautiful, sissy."
My mom comes up, tears in her eyes. "I can't believe my baby is getting married."
Charlie laughs, "mom, don't cry... you're going to make me cry."
She laughs, "I'm sorry, Char, I just can't help it." She wipes away a tear.
My dad comes in and stops when he sees her.
"Well, daddy, what do you think?" Charlie asks, biting her lip.
He sighs, "you look just like your mom on her wedding day, beautiful. I can't believe you're getting married, my little girl is getting married."
She hugs him, "I love you daddy."
"I love you too." He says kissing the top of her head and closing his eyes, as if he never wants the moment to end.

There's is one really sweet dancing moment between Katniss and Prim I started tear up because of a reason that I can't tell anyone because of spoilers!
And no commenting about Mockingjay that spoil! I will delete it!
