Alec POV:
As I was walking home I couldn't believe I met Chase Schreave and that she played baseball, and by play I mean play. She was amazing. I still feel bad that I called her 'dude' when I first met her. I'm in complete shock. I headed to my best friend's house, Jack. I knocked on the door.

"Hey man, what's up?" Jack asks me.

"You want to do something tomorrow? I need to show you someone." I tell him.

"Someone huh? Like a girl?" he asks raining his eyebrows.

"Kinda...." I say laughing, "See you tomorrow!" I yell walking home.

"Hey mom, how was your day?" I asked walking in the front door.

"It was good. Where have you been?"

"I was just playing some baseball." What? I'm not lying.

"Bubby! You're home!" my little sister yells.

"Hi Bunny," I say to her, that isn't her name but it's what I call her, "What did you do today?"

"I played with Sarah," she says.

"That's fun!" I am so glad that she is having a happy childhood, mine wasn't the best. A lot of things were going on because the King was getting rid of the Caste system. I hear a cry from the baby's room. "I'll get Bear," his name is Teddy but I call him Bear.

"Thanks honey," my mom says as she sets the table.

"Hi, Teddy Bear." I coo at my baby brother.

"Dinner!" Bunny yells to us. I put Bear in his highchair, and lift Bunny into her chair.

"Thanks Bubby!"

Chase POV: Next day

I get up and have my maids bring my breakfast to my room.

"Good morning Miss," the maid says.

"Please call me Chase," I tell her.

"Yes, mi-Chase," she says and leaves. I put on jean shorts, a tank top and sneakers and cover it with a dress. I run out of my room and run into my mother.

"Chase!" she exclaims all of the papers fly out of her hands.

"Sorry mom!" I yell bending down to pick up the papers, as a maid rushes over to help, "no I got it," I wave her away. I hand my mom the papers. I stand up, "Ummm.... Goodbye," I'll see you at dinner? I'm gonna go on a picnic for lunch."

"Just be careful. Do you want a guard or maid to go with you?"

"No, its fine," I pack a lunch of me, Alec and his friend.

Jack POV:

I still can't believe that Alec met a girl before I did, "so tell me, what's your girl is like?"

"She isn't my girl.... I'm helping her with baseball,"

"Why baseball? She likes baseball?"

"Yeah she is really good!" he exclaims.

"Dude, you totally like her!" I yell at him.

"Maybe a little but it's never going to happen," he says.

"Why not?" I ask him.

"You'll see," he says with a smile. Alec leads me to an old baseball field to see a girl with fiery red hair pitching, she is really good!

"Chase!" the girl turns her head and smiles. "This is my best friend Jack."

"Hi, nice to meet you," she smiles and stretches out her hand for me to shake.

"You look familiar, do you live by me?" I ask Chase.

"Ummm..... not exactly..."

"Oh, where do you live?"

"Ummm... there," she says pointing to the castle behind her.

"Okay. Alec!" I say slapping him on the back of the head, "How the hell did you meet her?"

"I came across her yesterday."

"Well you probably should have told me first!" I yell. Chase starts laughing at us.

"You guys sound like my sister and I when we fight!"

Chase POV:

"You guys sound like my sister and I when we fight!" I say Alec smiles, my heart flutters and my stomach flips. Uh oh!

"So you wanna help me field?" I ask the boys.

"Sure." Jack says. They show me the best way to field a ground ball. We stop for lunch.

"Guys I brought some sandwiches you want one?" I ask. I hand one to Jack and one to Alec our hands touch we pull away, I blush. "So how old are you guys?"

"10," they both say.

"Me too, I turned 10 two months ago," I tell them, "do you have any siblings?"

"Yeah I have two, a baby brother, Teddy, and a litter sister, May. But I call Teddy Bear and May Bunny," Alec says.

"Cute," I exclaim.

"I have two little brothers, they are twins Mark and Mike," Jack says.

"I think you guys know that I have a sister," I say, "So do you have any other friends or is it just you two?"

"We have another best friend her name is Erin," I say.

"Cool, well I would love to meet her. If that's okay with you guys," I tell them. The boys look at each other and shrug.

"Sure, I'm sure she would love it. She likes baseball too." Alec says I smile at that.

We finish off the day with pop flies and sliding.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow?" I ask them they nod, "bye!"

I put my dress back on and run back to the castle. I slip in the back door and run to my room to get ready for dinner, today was a good day.

Erin POV:

I hear knocking and yelling, that means it can only be Jack and Alec.

"What do you guys want?" I ask.

"You want to go somewhere tomorrow?" Jack asks me.

"I'm gonna need a little more information them that," I tell them.

"Okay, but can we go into your room?" Alec asks. I nod, it's not weird they have been in my room so many times, we've been friends sense we were babies.

"Thanks." Jack says, I smile at him, he smiles back, and I blush. I might have a small... medium... huge crush on him.

"Whoa where are you guys going?" my older brother asks.

"Just up to my room Josh," I tell him. He looks mad but I ignore him, he has always been over protective.

"So what up?" I ask the boys when we get to my room, and sit on my bed.

"We met a girl who also likes baseball..." Jack says, "We want you to meet her,"

"Okay? Why didn't you bring her here?"

"We can't,"

"Why?"

"Becausesheistheprincess" Alec says.

"What?!?" I shout.

"She is the-"

"I know I heard you!" I interrupted, "how did you meet her? Which one? Are you holding her hostage" I ask, with my friends you never know.

"Chase and I came across her when I was on a walk," Alec says.

"Oh. My. God." I say.

"So will you meet her? She wants to meet you," Alec says.

"Ya." I notice that Alec is smiling when he taks about her, "Does Alec have a wittle cuwsh?" I laugh as he turns bright red. Jack notices too and we start laughing really hard, soon Alec joins in too.
