Chapter 10

4 years later (Chase is 14)

Chase POV:

I go to meet my friends at the field, when I get there I only see Alec, "Where are Jack and Erin?"

"I left before they did they'll be here soon," he tells me.

"Oh, okay."

Alec POV:

This is it, I'm going to tell her how I feel about her. Erin told me that she also likes me I just hope that she is right.

"Chase?"

"Hm?"

"Umm... Can tell you something?"

Chase POV:

What is he going to tell me? Does he not want to practice with me anymore? "Sure"

"Let's sit,"

"Okay," he is making me so nervous.

"Chase, I....I...." he trails off.

"Alec please tell me."

"Okay, Chase I..." he takes a deep breath, "I like you. I really like you, I know that nothing can happen between us but-" I cut him off by pressing my lips to his, he deepens the kiss and puts his hand on my neck. We hear cat calls and whistles from our friends. I laugh.

"Alec you finally told her!" Erin yells.

"Maybe you should do the same!" Alec yells, she shrugs and walks over to Jack and presses her lips to his, his eyes widen and he kisses back. They kiss till Alec and I pull them apart.

"So now what?" I ask.

"This," and Alec kisses me.

I pull away and say that we should start practicing. We practice all day long and when it's time to go I hug Erin and Jack, they leave hand in hand. I give Alec a hug and we kiss, it's a slow passionate kiss. "I have to go," I tell him I don't want to though. I head back to the castle smiling.

The next day I eat breakfast as quick as I can and race out to meet Alec. Just thinking his name my heart flutters.

Alec POV:

I think I went too far by kissing her yesterday. Yes, she kissed back but maybe she felt like she had to. I'll talk to her today, I decide. When I get to the field, Chase yells my name and jumps into my arms and kisses me, I kiss her back. Maybe I was wrong? She deepens the kiss, oh yes I was wrong, very wrong.

"Hi," I say as we break for a breath.

"I'm sorry I probably shouldn't have done that," she says.

"Why?" I ask brushing a piece of hair behind her ear.

"I don't know, we just kissed last night and.... I don't know," she says. I kiss her to make sure she knows that I liked what she did.

"NO PDA!" Jack and Erin yell. We jump apart when they scream.

"Oh so I can't do it, but you can push her against a wall when you think I'm far enough away, just to let you know.... I turned around because Erin made a noise if surprise and I wanted to make sure she was okay," I tell them and they blush, "I will never get that vision out of my head." I joke.

We play baseball and as always we break for lunch.

"So what's happening in the castle?" I ask Chase, her head is in my lap.

"Well my aunt had her twins, Charlie and I picked the names," she told us.

"What are the names?" Jack asks.

"So my aunt's name is May, so Charlie picked August for the boy and I picked April for the girl," she says.

"Cute!" Erin exclaims. We played more after that.

"We are going to head home," Jack says hugging Chase, Erin does the same, "We'll let you say goodbye," he winks at me.

Once they leave, we go and sit on the blanket that we had lunch on, "Chase will you be my girlfriend?" I ask her nervously. She looks as me then crashes her lips into mine, we kiss for what seems like hours, when I pull away, "Was that a yes?" She nods and she pushes be back so I'm lying flat on my back, I pull her on top of me, we kiss till the sun goes down.

"I have to go," she says.

"I wish I could walk you up," I tell her.

"I do too," she kisses me one last time and leaves.

Chase POV:

I have my maids bring my dinner up, so my family wouldn't see my red, puffy lips. I fall asleep thinking about Alec's deep blue eyes.

Alec POV:

I walk home and I find Erin and Jack kissing by the lake, "NO PDA!" I yell at them they jump apart Jack trips over something and falls into the lake. Erin and I look at each other and we burst out laughing.

"Dude you made me fall in!" he shouts at me.

"Sorry man," I tell him. Erin and I offer our hands to help him get up but instead he pulls both of us in.

"Now we are even!" he shouts.

"What did I do?" Erin asks.

"Uhhh...." He kisses her probably think it will make up for it, they kiss for a while. I splash them and they splash back. We have a full on splash war for an hour.

"Guys I should probably head home. Bye, have fun sucking face!" I yell at them.

"Mom I'm home!" I yell.

"Hi honey. What- why are you wet?" she asks me.

"I uh kinda interrupted Erin and Jake kissing and he fell in then he pulled me in when I gave him my hand to help him out," I tell her.

"Oh. Okay. Wait kissing?" she asks surprised.

"Ya, they are kinda dating now..." I tell her, "can I get a towel?"
