Chapter 57

Erin POV:
I wake to someone kissing up my shoulder and my neck. "Hey." I say, smiling.
"Morning," he says.
"Morning," I press my lips to his, I smile at him.
He rests his chin on my shoulder, "what's that smile?"
"What smile?"
"The one you can't wipe off your face," he laughs.
I try to frown, only to have my lips to go back into a smile. "Shut up. You need to head home soon, before my parents get home."
I hear the door open, "shit!" Jack exclaims trying to get up.
Then someone coming up the stairs, they open the door. "Hey, Erin? Have you seen-" he's eyes widen and the sight and slaps a hand over his eyes.
"Alec!" I exclaim.
"Yeah?"
"Get out!" Jack exclaims.
Alec turns and walks into the wall and falls down, he sets his hand down on the floor, only to set it on my lacy bra.
"Ah!" He exclaims throwing it across the room.
He puts his hands out in front of him and finds his way out of the room. "That. Was. Mortifying." I say.
"I know," Jack say biting my ear. "I'm only allowed to touch your bra." He bites my neck, lightly. "And what's under it."
I giggle and push him away, "shut up. Let's go down stairs."
Once we are dressed we head down stairs. "You should know your mom is freaking out." Alec says to Jack.
"I thought you were covering for him?" I say.
"Kinda fell through..." Alec says, not meeting my eyes.
"I'll make breakfast." I say.
As I walk way I see them high-five out of the corner of my eye. I roll my eyes, "boys."
I hear them whispering, probably about last night. Guess that means I can tell Chase about it.
"I gotta get going soon," Alec says. "Chase apparently has some big news."
Jack walks over to me and presses our lips together, I kiss back sloppily.
Alex clears his throat, "do you mind? So... Are you going to tell your moms?"
I laugh, "maybe mom, she might be okay with it... But ma would definitely freak out." I say pouring the pancake batter onto the pan on the stove.
Once the pancakes are done Alec wolfs them down and heads out, "bye guys!"
"Bye Alec," I say.
Chase POV:
I walk with Sophie down to meet Alec, a squirming Cory in her arms. "Down Phie! Down!" He squirms.
"No, because then you just run away from me," Sophie huffs.
"Down!"
"No." She says.
He starts to cry, "down! Down! Mommy!"
"You can go bring him to my mom, she is in her office."
Cory throws his head back and cries out. "Mommy!"
Sophie nods and walks off, trying to hold onto my screaming brother.
I see a guard leading Alec to the castle. I limp over to him, "you're off your crutches."
"Yep!" I turn to the guard, "you're dismissed."
"Yes, your Highness." He bows his head and walks off.
Alec studies me as we walk, "what?"
"Nothing, it's just weird seeing you all 'princess-y'." He says taking my hand into his.
As we walk past maids and guards they bow their heads slightly. "See that I'm not used to."
I shrug, "I guess I don't notice it anymore."
As we walk into my parents office Alec runs into Sophie, knocking her over. "I'm so sorry!" He exclaims. "Are you okay?"
Sophie nods and turns to me, "do I have to be polite to him?"
"Not technically, no." I say.
Alec helps her up, "you sure you're okay?"
She nods, "I'm fine." She curtsies and walks out.
I see my mom rocking a crying Cory to sleep, soon he is asleep with his little thumb in his mouth.
"So what are we here go talk about?" I ask.
"Your mother and I," my dad starts.
"Mostly your father," mom says, still rocking Cory.
Dad leans back against the couch, in an most un-King-ly way and sighs. "Fine, I was thinking that we should have a ball."
"Uh, why?" Alec asks.
"To celebrate Chase waking up and to release your relationship to the public." Mom says.
"But you know I can't dance..." I wine.
"You can't?" Alec asks, laughing lightly.
I slap his arm lightly, "shut up."
"She got her mothers feet," dad says.
Mom slaps the back of his head, "hush."
"What kind of a ball is it going to be?" I ask.
"Anything you want,"
"Masquerade," I grin at my parents and Alec.

Hey guys! *waves* Sorry it's short! The next chapter will be the ball and I have to find everyone's dress and everything so... I'll try to update soon!!
But my weekend is kinda busy. I have a swim meet on Saturday and Mother's Day stuff on Sunday so not sure when I'll be able to update but maybe later this week!!
