Chapter 18

Chase POV:

I wake to someone knocking on the door I look at my clock 6:03, I stomp over to the door and yank it open, "what?!?" I exclaim.

"So you're not happy to see me?" my 19 year old cousin, Astra asks.

"You're back!" I exclaim. She had been gone for 3 months traveling with her boyfriend, I yank her into my room and pound on my sisters room until she comes to the door.

"What?!?" she yells, I grab her arm and pull her to my room, "Sissy its 6:00 in the morning what could you possibly- Astra!" she yells fully awake now. We both go to hug her.

"I missed you guys too! I was gone for so long I forgot how much you look alike," she jokes, we laugh she was the only one in our family who could tell us apart when we would wear the same thing, but my parents still do pink for Charlie and purple for me.

"How was it?" Charlie asks, "the outdoor stuff I mean."

"Ha-ha, but it was great! Austin and I had a great time," she smiles.

"I heard my name," Austin says poking his head into my room, Charlie and I run over to him and hug him, "Guys I kinda need to breathe!"

"Sorry!" we say in unison.

"Oh yeah! Guess who is pregnant!" Charlie says.

"Who?" she asks.

"Auntie May, a little girl they are going to name her Autumn."

"Yea! I love babies," she smiles. Austin sits next to her on my bed and they start to kiss.

"Guys!" I exclaim.

"You and Alec are worse then that!"

Charlie exclaims, I hit her on the arm I never told her about Alec.

"Who?" Astra asks.

"My... boyfriend," I say boyfriend quietly.

"When did that happen?" Austin asks.

"About a year ago..." I trail off.

"A year?!? I need to meet this boy!" Astra says.

"You can tomorrow, don't tell anyone nobody knows but Char and Auntie May," I say as they leave. I go back to bed, I can't wait for Astra to meet Alec, just thinking his name makes me smile.

Alec POV:

Erin and Jack are coming late so it's just me when I see Chase walking down with two other people.

"On wards trusty steed," Chase says hopping onto a boy's back, I flare with jealousy. When they get here I have my back turned to them, "Alec!" I turn and catch her in my arms and kiss her.

"Who is this?" I ask trying to hide my jealousy, but I think Chase can tell because she grabs my hand.

"My cousin Astra and her boyfriend," she says putting emphasis on the word 'boyfriend.'

"It's nice to meet you," I say.

"You as well," Astra smiles, "Chase you know how to pick 'em!'

Chase blushes and then Austin runs over and picks her up, "My little Chase is growing up," he says.

"Shut up," Chase rolls her eyes.

"I've known you for 6 years, you are all grown up!" he says setting her down.
"You want to work on hitting?" Chase asks I nod, "just don't hit me in the eye again," Astra and Austin look confused and scared, they must think I actually hit her.

"I'll pitch!" I yell to her, "you guys can sit on the blanket if you want," they shrug and sit down. Once she goes to home plate I pitch the ball and she hits it over the trees, "Homerun!" I shout.
