Chapter 19

Chase POV:

I've been working on this picture of Alec and I for about a month and I finally finished. It's a painting of he and I kissing with the sun setting in the background. The way I panted it we are painted in black paint and the sun is exploding with oranges, yellows, reds, purples and pinks. I hope he likes it. I arrive at the field early so I put my jacket over the painting so he won't see it.

"Chase?" I hear Alec asks, "you usually run into my arms..." he says disappointedly. I take off at full speed and jump into his arms but I hit him so hard that we fell to the ground so I landed on top of him, "much better," he smiles I roll my eyes and kiss him anyways.

"Guys what should we-oh god!" Jack exclaims when he sees our passionate lip lock, "I think I'm blind."

Alec and I shrug and continue to kiss, "why are you-oh," I hear Erin say, I giggle against Alec's lips, "Yup, I'm blind too." I hear them walk by us and they start practicing, but we are a little... busy to notice, "Alec let her breath!" Erin exclaims. We pull away breathing hard.

"I love you," I tell him.

"I love you too, now come on get off we should practice."

"Make me," I say.

"Okay," he says then he stands up I squeal and grab his neck he lifts me up bridal style and walks over to Jack and Erin who are currently not playing baseball.

"I have something for you," I tell him, "take me over to the blanket."

"You have legs," he complains.

"Yeah but this is so much better then walking," I say then I kiss his neck.

"So... the blanket?" he falters as I suck on his neck more, I nod. I pull away to see a light purple mark there, oops? He sets me down and I grab the painting and I crawl into his lap and give it to him. When he takes my jacket off of the picture and he freezes when he sees it then his face breaks into a huge smile. "Babe this is amazing!"

"What's amazing?" Jack asks. Alec shows him the picture and I blush a little, "wow Chase you're really good!"

"Thanks," I say, "let's just lay around today?"

"Yea," Erin says. Alec lays down and I put my head on his chest and I put my legs on Jack's legs as Erin does the same but she puts her head on Jack's chest.

"Alec you told me how you and Jack met Erin but you never told me how you met Jack," I say.

"Our dads were really close growing up. It was my dad, my mom and Alec's dad they grew up together," Jack says.

"What is your dad like Alec?" I ask I don't think he ever talks about him.
"Excuse me," Alec says getting up and walking away.

"What?" I whisper.

"His dad died when he was 8, he didn't really do anything for about a year until he met you," Erin said. I get up, "no he needs to be alone."

"No, my mom lost her dad too and my dad told me that if she says she wants to be alone she really doesn't," I tell them. I get up to see Alec sitting on the ground, crying, "Alec I'm sorry, I didn't know."

"Chase it's okay, I just miss him, you know?" he says.

"I know you do, but it's the memories that help you not miss him, you need to remember your father, not forget him. Tell me about him," I say sitting down next to him.

"He was... he was the best dad a kid could ask for, he loved me and Bunny and Teddy Bear, but you should see the way he loved my mom, I would catch them kissing like teenagers her arms wrapped around his neck his hands in her hair, they fell in love with each other more and more every day. He was funny, always making my mom laugh and she has an embarrassing laugh so she would go beet red, then I would start laughing, and then my whole family was laughing at... nothing.
"Every night when he would come home he would kiss my mom then he would run over to me and pick me up and hug me, then Bunny. And when mom told us that she was having Teddy, walked over to her and picked her up and said 'I have 2 amazing children and you're telling me I get one more?' When my uncle told us that he died, Bunny started screaming which made Teddy start, my mom went into her room closing the door, I stood up and walked out the door to Jacks house I knocked on the door and I burst in to tears Jack pulled my into his room and called Erin she came over and I told them what happened and they sat on either side of me hugging me for hours, we fell asleep like that.
"Then the funeral happened and they never left my side, after wards we when up to my room and we did the same thing, crying silent tears," I look over at him, he is still crying.

"Kiss me. Put all the emotion you are feeling into the kiss," I tell him, he leans over and kisses me, I fell the emotion in the kiss. When he pulls away, the tears are gone but I can tell the hurt isn't.

Josh POV:
I still don't like that Erin is dating Jack, just as I think that I see Erin and Jack heading up to her room, them must not have seen me sitting in the family room, "where are you going?"

"Uh, up to my room," Erin says like it's obvious, "I can have my boyfriend in my room if I keep the door open, we are just going to read or talk or something it's not like we are going to do anything." I let them go up but I will be checking on them in 15 minutes. I continue to watch tv but when it's been 20 minutes I head up stairs, and pause at her room to see them sitting on her bed Erin's head in his lap and he is reading 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' I smile and walk to my room.

Erin POV:
"Please will you read to me? I love it when you do," I tell him kissing his nose.

"Fine," he says grabbing 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.' I lay my head down in his lap and we start where we left off last time,

He didn't realize that love as powerful as your mother's love for you leaves its own mark. I loved listening to Jack read to me, we finished the book and started the next one, we got to chapter 7 when my ma and mom got home, they walked into my room to see us laying on the bed with me laying on his arm.

"Jack would you like to stay for dinner?" ma asks smiling at us.

"Sure thanks" he says kissing my head.

Maxon POV:

"America my dear?" I ask later that night after dinner.

"Not your dear, but what?" she asks,

"Would you like to renew our vows? I fall in love with you all over again every day and I want to have a wedding with our girls," I tell her.

America's face breaks into a huge smile, "I would love to your royal husbandness."

"Great, let's call the girls in," I say.
Once the girls come in I tell them what is going to happen they break into huge smiles and they run over and hug us.

"Do we get to be in the wedding?" they ask at the same time, I laugh.

"Of course!" America exclaims. We spend the rest of the night discussing the wedding.
