I ran back into the hospital after Deaton had somehow found a way to unlink Cora's surfent situation with my own, allowing me to go back to the hospital.

"Woah, woah, woah, little lady." Rafael McCall stopped me as I entered the building.

"The hell you just call me?"

"You've certainly gotten worse since last I saw you." he said.

"You came up to me in that bar. I turned your creepy ass down. Now. Get out of my way." I snapped at him.

He stepped aside and I headed to where Stiles was. "Hey. You're walking!"

"Yeah. Thanks for getting Derek out of here. I heard about Scott. I'm sorry."

He shook his head. "They took his mom. He had no choice."

Rafael McCall walked up to us. "A Stilinski at the center of this whole mess. What a shocker. Think you can answer some questions without the usual level of sarcasm?"

Stiles looked at the older man. "If you ask the questions without the usual level of stupid."

He smiled thinly. "Where is your dad, and why's no one been able to contact him?"

Stiles shrugged. "I don't know. I haven't seen him in hours."

    "Is he drinking again?"

Stiles stood up and grabbed onto my wrist as I felt my heartbeat rising in anger, a light growl escaping my throat.

"What do you mean, "again?" He never had to stop." Stiles said.

"But he did have to slow down. Is he drinking like he used to?"

Stiles sighed impatiently. "All right, how about this? Next time I see him, I'll give him a field sobriety test, okay? We'll do the alphabet—start with "F," end with "U..."

Rafael frowned. "How about you just tell me what the hell happened here?"

"I don't know what happened here. I was stuck in the elevators the whole time." Stiles said.

"You're not the one who put the name on the doors, are you?"

    "What name?" Stiles asked.

"The word is "guardian," Allison-- more than anyone, you know that's a role I haven't exactly lived up to lately." Argent said as Allison, Stiles, and I followed him into a room.

"But she took Scott's mother and Stiles' father. That's not a coincidence." Allison answered.

"Yeah. I'd also consider the fact that someone put your name up in large block letters on the elevator door. That kind of felt like a warning to me..." I said.

Allison nodded. "I think it might be Morrell. She knows a lot more than she lets on, and she might even be trying to help us."

"Well, she needs to get on that a lot faster, okay? Seeing as how the lunar eclipse is less than two freaking nights away..." Stiles said sadly.

"Stiles, don't give up hope." Argent said.

Stiles sighed. "They could already be dead."

He shook his head. "I don't think so. There's something about Jennifer's tactics...it's like she's still positioning. Still moving pieces into place."

"And you're one of them." Allison said.

Argent opened up a drawer and pulled out a gun. "Then, let's not wait around to see the next move. Everything she's done has been on a telluric current, so Melissa and the Sheriff have to be somewhere on one of those currents, right? Stiles, if we're gonna find them, we need your help."
