lionel's eyes grew dark as he lifted his gaze up from my phone, "this isn't funny huntley if this person releases this—"
"did i say it was funny?" i scoffed, taking my phone back forcefully and shoving it in my pocket. i frowned at him, why the fuck is he getting mad at me?

"shit, what are we gonna do?" he asked while looking around the halls cautiously.
"i don't know." i responded honestly. "if this gets leaked before i get chance to tell mickey, i'm fucked. they'll hate me."
lionel groaned, "tell him tomorrow?" he suggested although i could tell he wasn't bothered about my friendship with mickey. after all, he did hate the fuck out of him.
"i'll have too." i sighed.

i watched lionel pull out his phone and start typing rather aggressively, which made a pit form in my stomach.
"who are you texting?" i asked quietly, fidgeting awkwardly with my fingers.
"alex and i are gonna figure out who has that picture." he stated simply, and my eyebrows furrowed at his words.
"and how do you plan on doing that?" i watched him lift his head up to glance at me. a grim formed on his mouth, "you don't want to know darling." and he swiftly planted a kiss on my cheek before speed walking down the hallway. my eyes followed him, but scoffed at turned when i started to come up with possibilities of what he meant.

it was now the end of the day and i was making my way out the gates. i knew lionel was going to walk me home, but i wanted to quickly see my friends since i hadn't seen them since this morning.

"hi lads!" i approached our little group in the usual space.
"hey." freddie said with a smile, and everyone else greeted me in their own way.
"you coming to mickeys house? he's having another party." nick asked, and i turned to mickey who was grinning proudly.
"sure, but i have to go home for a bit first. what times the party?" i said, pulling my phone out to stop the vibrations. lionel was messaging me asking where i was, but i didn't respond since i'd only be a minute.

"starts at 9." mickey responded, shaking my shoulder excitedly.
"alright, i'll be there. see you later lads." i chuckled, pushing mickey off me playfully and then walking off to find lionel.

when i turned the corner, there he was leaning against a lamppost. i couldn't wait to confront him about what he planned to do about who had that picture of us kissing.
"hey." i spoke loudly, and watched him look up from his phone to smirk at me.
he kicked his leg of the post, "hello." lionel spoke smoothly. "come on, you've already made me wait long enough."
"oh hush." i laughed at him.

after we got started walking, i chose to ask him for his honest answer on what lengths he'd actually go to to find the truth.
"so what are you and alexander going to do?"
"i already have a lead, so when i find him i'm going to beat him the fuck up until he gives me the information i want." he spoke with a menacing grin on his face. i looked away.
"how do you know its a guy?" i mumbled wearily.
he huffed, "well i don't. but whoever it is, i'll still fucking kill them."

"bloody hell, lionel. you sound crazy."
"i'm not crazy. i'm annoyed. who the hell thinks they can threaten you with this? i'll kill them." he spat, venom dripping in his tone. i sighed, knowing there was no convincing him to calm down.

eventually we made it to my house and we both stood on my driveway thinking carefully. "i don't want to." i breathed.
"i know love, but you have to. he's your dad." and lionel's words really got to me, and i knew he was right.
"okay, i'm going." and with a swift turn, i pulled lionel in — not caring if my father was looking through the windows. "thank you." i whispered into his mouth, and he kissed me slowly.

"come back to my house after?" he suggested, and i nodded with a smile.
"there's a party at 9, i'm going." i spoke after remembering about mick's party.
"who's hosting?"
i smirked, "mickey."
"i'll be there too." he chuckled, and i rolled my eyes but kissed him quickly nonetheless.

"bye, lionel." i spoke, and he nodded to me.
i watched his eyes watch mine, "you'll be okay." he smiled sweetly, and i grinned back to him before i started walking down the driveway. i can do this. i'll be okay.
