CHAPTER 19

There was a drastic change in Felix's life...and that was too unimaginable.

Well...good for him though.

"Lix, not there, come here baby," Hyunjin cried, as he jogged towards the crystal lake at one corner of the beautiful little park. Felix was sitting by the lake, and playing with the water like a little child. Hyunjin knew well, Felix couldn't swim. Further, he was pregnant. So, Hyunjin wouldn't dare let him near the water.

"Loveeeeee, the water is soooo colddd," Felix whined, "It's so refreshing. Look," And before Hyunjin could say something, Felix splashed a bit of the lake water on him, drenching his trousers.

"Ughhhh Lixxxxxx...you naughty little-" Hyunjin cried in disbelief. Felix giggled loudly, and his voice sounded so sweet and childlike, instead of his natural deep voice. Hyunjin couldn't help but melt in that laughter.

"Enough teasing for today, baby," Hyunjin spoke, pointing at Felix, "Now, do you want some ice-creams?"

Felix nodded his head vigorously in reply.

"Baby is hungry, he's kicking again," Felix suddenly complained, as he lightly touched his bump and made a cute, pouty face. Hyunjin smiled and kissed his pout.

"And seriously Lix, did you even eat anything since morning?" Hyunjin asked with a serious face, as he helped the other boy get up, "Just jams and breads. Why not, baby must be angry with you."

"Ice creammmmm~," Felix whined into Hyunjin's ears, and later giggling on noticing the latter's distress.

"Not in my ears love," Hyunjin pleaded, "I don't want to be deaf for the rest of my life, please."

It was bright afternoon. The Sun shone radiantly, sparkling every nook and corner of the park. A soft, cool breeze blew through the leaves, softly rustling them and making the golden trees dance with each other. The pathway in the park were strewn with cherry blossoms, as pink trees lined the way. The park was not too crowded, but some young couples, happy parents and little children had come to spend their leisure there.

Hyunjin walked, his hand carefully wrapped round Felix's waist, while the latter trotted along side, drowned in his own little world. Whatever he saw was like a surprise to him, and he quickly pointed it out and showed it to Hyunjin even if it was a common duckling in the pond.

"Hyunjin look-Hyun, what are you doing?"

"Shhh love, you are looking sooo pretty."

Hyunjin had plucked a cherry blossom from one of the branches of the trees that hung too low, and had placed it in Felix's golden curls. Hyunjin couldn't help but admire the younger's beauty.

"Hyunjin...staring is rude," Felix commented.

"Not in my case, love."

Felix rolled his eyes, as Hyunjin laughed.

"I swear someone literally stole the stars from the skies and placed them in your eyes. And the ones that didn't fit, they were scattered across your cheeks," Hyunjin spoke,not facing Felix.

Gosh! He literally missed the clear view of Felix's perfectly pink cheeks.

Soon, they reached the ice-cream shop of the park. Hyunjin quickly turned to Felix.

"Flavour?"

"Strawberry," Felix said.

"Good. Now..."

Hyunjin instructed him to quietly sit on a bench and to not run away somewhere. Felix did what he was told. Soon, Hyunjin came with two ice cream cones in his hand, strawberry and chocolate.

"Thank you," Felix said, as he quickly placed his tongue on the cold cream.

The two of them quietly ate their ice creams, not talking much. The Sun was now glowing across the western sky, making it looking radiantly orange. The breeze was slowly becoming colder. The moon was vaguely visible.

"Hyun?"

"Hm?"

"What do you think the baby will be?"

"The baby?"

"Idiot," Felix cried, "The baby-"

"Oooo...the gender?" Hyunjin asked, looking completely like a fool.

"Of course, why did we go to the hospital today morning then?"

"Ummm..." Hyunjin paused for some seconds, thinking hard, "Look love. I don't care. Boy, girl, I really don't care. It just has to be a normal, healthy baby, that's it. Either ways, I'm happy."

"Me toooo," Felix clapped his hands, "Um...wgat if it's a boy? What name will you give?"

"Um...let Hoe and Ji do that work," Hyunjin replied.

"Um...Hoe?"

"You know, MeanHOE!"

"What the-"

The couple laughed loudly. Soon, their ice creams were over and they soon made it out of the park and started to walk home.

"There are soooo mannyyy surprises waiting at home," Hyunjin spoke, his eyes shining bright.

"I just can't wait, babe!" Felix cried excitedly.

Neither can I.
