I place the coffee cup back on the table and make an eye contact with him again. I'm not nervous but I want to make it right for her. 

This is like the final exam of my life .

"So , it means you both met at the summer camp" he says and I nod .

Butterfly stands behind her dad's chair and signals me to smile a little. I'm trying my best .

"See kiaan , I won't beat around the bush . My daughter likes you and --- "

"I love him dad " She interrupts making me smile.

"Yes , as you can see you are really important to her now . I know that Raghuvanshis are a big name in mafia world so I don't have a problem in giving my daughter to someone as powerful as you untill you put her in any kind of danger" he glares at me.

"That won't ever happen ".

"Stop being so serious " her mom strolls near me and sits next to me on the couch "I think kiaan is perfect , kavish chose kainat for himself and I really like her but kiaan is my favourite. Good job Ishu "

I smile when she connects the side of her forhead to mine . A mother is the most special and important person for everyone .

"Don't you worry , your mum is on your side " she whispers making my heart feel warmth .

I lost my mother but my butterfly got me a mother too .

"You wait for a few minutes" her dad orders and kavish is hardly suppressing his laughter.

"I've kept my doll like daughter really protected whole her life . She never had to say the name of anything she ever wanted , instead I presented it in front of her before it . She is really picky when it comes to clothes and jwellery . She wants attention 24x7 . If she says she's cute , she's wants to hear that she's the cutest on earth . She needs special care when it comes to food "

"Dad!!!!! " she registers her objection while I speak up "she needs to feel safe when she walks out of the house because strangers make her uneasy , she doesn't like crossing roads after a certain incident , she hates horror movies or anything related to ghosts because she's a scardy cat , sky colour is her favorite and she owns hundreds of pairs of sneakers . She likes being praised whenever she gets ready and hates uncomfortable clothes "

"Woah " kavish looks at me with wide eyes.

"Awww he's perfect " her mother speaks and butterfly looks at me with a wide grin.

"Okay last question " her father sits straight and intertwines fingers of both his hands .

"What if I reject you and decide to marry her off with someone else "

My blood boils on his words but relax kiaan this is a trick question and the man is your girlfriend's father . Give a decent and polite answer.

"I'd burn your Mansion down and take her away with or without your permission . If any moth-- if any punk dares to think of marrying her , I'll kill him with bare hands " I deadpan and she hits her forhead with her fingers .

What ? I wasn't polite enough ?

Her father gets up and looks at me firmly while each one of them turns silent .

"Exactly what I had expected from someone like you " he steps towards me and spreads his arms for a hug " welcome to the family, son in law "

I hug him with a smile . It's strange how fathers can be nice too because for me a father is just a cruel and heartless man who lives to ruin his children .

But this man loves his daughter so much . Okay not as much as I love her .

"Finally I leave the post of your personal bodyguard little sister " kavish Says and she laughs. 

"Come I'll show you my room" she takes my hand and we head towards the stairs as her old and my new family begins a discussion.

I sit on her soft bed as she presses my shoulders with her soft hands .

"You did well "

"It was damn tough " I speak and pull her on my lap .

"Awww my poor baby, why did you stress so much ?" She cups my face with her little hands making me chuckle.

"Come I'll give you too many babies " I kiss her and she tries to push me away .

Ishani has always been the most important part of my life since the day she grinned and said hii .

I survived so much because of her and now finally she's here in my arms . She's is mine . She's my hellfire .

I might be monster for them but I am her shield against them monsters.

The villain in everyone's story is a hero in yours . You belong to him.
