Hey guys! This is a pic of Lightning, Max's horse. Next chapter, I'll put a pic of Spirit. Now, let's get on with the story!

Who is it, Max or Michael?

"Mel, Mel! Max won!" Kat shouted.

"Oh my gosh, I don't know how to feel!" I said. "I feel happy that Max won, but sad that Michael didn't."

"Don't worry, we'll make Michael feel better," she said.

I saw Max's face. He was so happy. I ran to him and gave him a passionate kiss in the lips. He kissed back with so much love.

When I pulled away I said, "Congrats, Max!"

Everyone kept running to Max to congratulate him.

I quickly went to Michael and saw that his face had a look of hurt. It pained me to see him like this. He turned away and started going towards the opposite direction.

"Michael wait!" I shouted and ran towards him.

He turned around and looked at me with a sad look in his eyes.

"Michael! Hey listen, it's okay. Don't be too hard on yourself. Besides, there's always next time! I think you're still an amazing rider," I said, smiling at him.

He looked at me in a way I had never seen before. His eyes softened and he came closer to me. Before I could realize what was happening, Michael slammed his lips against mine.

I was shocked. I quickly pushed him away and turned around. Max's eyes darkened with rage and I prepared for the worst. I lightly slapped Michael's arm.

"Why did you kiss me? You know I'm dating Max. Michael, you're my best friend I-"

"I'm sorry, I couldn't stand it anymore. Melody, I've had a crush on you since we first met," he said, not daring to look at me in the eyes.

Before I could answer him, Max came and said, "How dare you kiss my girlfriend?! You get away from her before I do something I'll regret!"

He was full of anger and rage. I had never seen Max like that... ever. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
