The Mountain Kingdom's capital
After several days of journeys, Jennie and Chan finally arrived in the Mountain Kingdom.
Chan was currently meeting with the others inside the hall in the palace.
Seulgi looked towards his father with a heavy heart. "What happened to your hand, father? And where is Jennie?"
Chan could only tell the story of the battle with Pan from the beginning once again.
Seulgi's brows creased. "Meaning, that person is dead and other people are bearing the burden for it?"
Chan nodded. They didn't want the Yuan Kingdom to bear the burden of hatred from the Ming Kingdom.
Since Pan has been on a killing spree even before reaching that place, they chose to leave the corpse in that place.
With that, the Ming Kingdom would be more likely to blame the Pan Kingdom.
By the side, Irene frowned. "But, where is Jennie? The soldiers are complaining because the training that she designs is really awful."
Seulgi and Chan looked at each other and laughed dryly.
How could it not be awful?
The amount of training that each person experienced was truly like hell and they didn't have the confidence that they could finish it.
However, they couldn't possibly change it because they knew the effect the training produced afterward was amazing.
"She's on her way to the Kai Kingdom."
Irene eyes almost popped out. She looked at Chan speechlessly.
"What is that lass wanted from the Kai Kingdom? Is it her hobby to go to another kingdom secretly like this?"
Chan could only smile wryly. When he first heard the news from Jennie, he too has been berating that girl until she has to explain the true reason. Although she only partially said the reason, that was enough for Chan to understand what she wanted to do.
"Overcoming a big kingdom is not as easy as a small kingdom," Chan answered.
Seulgi's brows furrowed. "Does that mean she is planning to infiltrate the three big kingdoms all by herself?"
"More or less," Chan answered. "She wanted to take them down both from war and from inside. For the Kai Kingdom, she plans to start from the inside."
Seulgi wanted to smack that girl's head for good. That little girl was once again doing something outrageous. He really cannot think what was inside that little lass's head.
"Wait, does it means she is planning to unify the five kingdoms?"
"I think that is her plan," Chan was not sure.
At first, their plan was simply to get out from that emperor, and she would plan out the revenge play. However, now that things have grown to this extent, there was no way she would just let them go.
The problem was, they might not succeed in taking over the kingdom just by simply fighting like this.
The force of the Kim family was not that big and fighting continually was impossible. Jennie must know that this was the case, which was why she was taking a different approach.
Irene sighed. She thought that with Jennie dropping her facade as Jayn, she would be able to live like an ordinary princess.
However, this thought was really wrong, She was still inviting danger everywhere.
"Is there anything she asked us to do?"
"The X Empire continues their duty, her soldiers continue training, and we can only do our usual job," Chan said helplessly.
The little lass didn't say anything excessive, but what she said was really troublesome. There was no detail in her instruction which gave him another headache.
Seulgi turned his head to the reports on the table. It seemed that for the time being, he had to face these stacks of paper...
Irene looked towards that paper. She hurriedly turned away and walked to the garden. There was no way she would want to touch them again. The matter of managing her household was already enough for her.
"Time for me to go, good luck Seul," Chan smiled slightly.
"Can't you at least help me?"
"I'm already too old. I need to sleep more now."
"..." You're clearly lying, father...

The Mountain Kingdom and Kai Kingdom border
Dressed in boy clothes, Jennie took her bag. Her face was using a different face mask, and she was eager to set off as quickly as possible. However, there was still something she needed to do before she left this place.
Walking towards the wall, she could see the army of Kai Kingdom headed toward her.
From the news they told her, she knew that the fifth prince of the Kai Kingdom planned to clash the soldiers from the Ming Kingdom with the Mountain Kingdom.
Her eyes turned cold. Too bad, they didn't know that the Kim family has a good relationship with the Manoban family.
Looking at the distance close to 350 meters from the wall, Jennie could see the crowds of soldiers there.
They were running with their back on the Ming Kingdom side and from this angle, it seemed they were losing really badly.
Jennie didn't bother with how they look like. She knew clearly that they wanted to take advantage of them.
At least, with them coming here she could show them her ability in archery.
Taking the bow and arrow from the side, she aimed at the soldiers.
Jennie let the arrow loose straight and hit one person who fell from his horse.
From this distance, she could hear they were shouting one name. "Fifth Prince"
Jennie smiled. The fifth prince was more of a hassle compared with the first prince.
Since the first prince was the crown prince, it was better to let them coronate such a prince rather than having a capable one.
After all, the Kai Kingdom was always a threat to either Ming Kingdom or Mountain Kingdom.
Putting her bow down, she went down, take a horse and go...
