Giving him an inch and he would demand a mile. That was what Lisa thought about the old man in front of him.

He clearly only said that he could visit his granddaughter once, but this shameless old man instead came every day during this week and accompanied the little lady.

"Grandpa, don't you have anything to do?" Jennie asked in a worried tone.

Chan just laughed, "There is nothing I need to do except accompany my little granddaughter. This old bone is too old to work."

"Grandpa, I'm already married."

"Let's see, we can play chess in the garden with this good atmosphere..."

"Grandpa..."

Lisa had black lines on his face when he saw how this shameless old man still being the same as always.

"General Chan, would you please not bother us?"

Chan waved his hand, "Just for a few days is fine, right?"

NO, it's not okay.  Jennie wanted to tell this to her grandfather badly.

Still, she knew that this old man wouldn't back down just from her telling him something like that. He will just continue to pester them all day.

"Xia, prepare some light dishes for us," Jennie finally gave up and instructed her servants.

"Yes, Miss," Xia hurriedly scurried away and did her task.

"Come on, JenJen, do you want to have a walk in the garden?" Chan asked with excited eyes.

Jennje sighed. She looked at her bulged stomach for a moment.

Although she was pregnant, she didn't have many qualms about walking for a short while, so she was pretty sure that she would be fine if it was only a small walk with her grandfather.

"Just not too fast," Jennie nodded her head.

"Of course, I won't force you," Chan said happily.

Lisa shook his head and leaned in to kiss Jennie's forehead.

"I have to go to the palace for today's morning court. My mother will come and accompany you in the afternoon."

"Okay, take care of yourself."

Without Lisa, Chann looked more comfortable. He walked at Jennie's pace to the garden and they took a seat in one of the small pavilions there.

When Jennie wanted to sit down, he carefully helped her and didn't allow the servant to get close.

"You shouldn't have done that by yourself, Grandpa," Jennie said in a helpless tone.

"I want to," Chan shrugged, "You're already so big and to think that you used to be so cute when you first came to the residence."

"What is so cute about a little girl waving the sword all day?" Jennie tilted her head in confusion.

Chan pondered for a moment before shaking his head and laughing.

In any case, she was still as cute as before in his view.

Thankfully, she no longer dressed up as a man or he would not be able to accept a girl being more handsome than a genuine man.

"The food becomes even tasteless," Chan put the dish in his mouth and frowned.

Jennei smiled bitterly, "There are some foods that I can't eat and some incompatible foods because of my condition. Because of that, the variety of the food decreases and it's not as extravagant as before."

With their income, there was no way Jennie couldn't eat good food every day.

However, she needed to eat food specialized for a pregnant woman, causing them to change their diet.

In any case, Jennie didn't find them to be that bad compared to when she became a soldier on the frontline.

"Maybe I need to learn to cook," Chan commented.

"Better not, I still remembered how bad the food Grandpa cooked before," Jennie hurriedly shook her head.

"That was because you're still too little to understand how delicious the food I cook," Chan retorted in a righteous tone. He believed that these two just did not appreciate good food.

He was the greatest cook in this kingdom without any match!

No one can make the same foods as him.

"..." In any case, I would never put those foods into my mouth ever again.

Because of their previous poor condition and lack of training equipment, Chan once brought Jennie to the forest to train for a week.

During that time, this old man tried to cook, and Jennie found the food to be even deadlier than the most dangerous poison.

In the end, she was the one cooking for the two of them and didn't allow her grandfather to get close to her when she was cooking.

If she knew what her grandfather was thinking right now, she would surely be utterly speechless.

After all, it was the complete opposite. Her grandfather should have told anyone that he was the worst cook, which she would surely believe.

"I wonder how uncle can survive when he lives with you, Grandpa," Jennie grinned.

"Of course, that was because the food I cooked was splendid. No restaurant would be good enough to serve the food I cooked," Chan laughed.

"... If there is a restaurant that dares to sell that food, I'm pretty sure the court will be filled with people complaining about them vehemently," Jennie shook her head.

"Don't underestimate your grandfather!"

"That is already overestimating," those foods would be capable of killing people.

If the food was served in front of Jackson, she would be pretty sure that the other party wouldn't be able to get out of bed because of food poisoning for days.

Even people with a high tolerance for food like her cannot eat her grandfather's food, so there was no need to mention those with a tongue like Jackson's.

"Before Shin-Hye comes here, let's play a game of chess," Chan took the board out.

Jennie smiled and nodded her head, "I will defeat you, Grandpa."

"No way, I won't lose against you."

The two of them quickly started to play.

On the side, Xia watched her Miss intently for she didn't want any mishap to happen to her.
