Jennie looked towards Lisa on her side with apprehension.
This man would not allow her to go by herself and would insist on coming with her to see the altar.
As for the others, only their guards followed after them since Rosé refused to see such a place while Yan was still trying his luck in the negotiation.
They once again opened the door and stepped inside.
The moment Jennie's finger touched the door, she could faintly see people with ancient clothing in front of her.
They were walking inside with heavy expressions. The view lasted for a split second before her vision turned normal again.
"Jennie?" Lisa asked.
Jennie shook her head, "It's nothing. Let's go inside."
Lisa nodded his head and took Jennie's hand into his own before leading them inside.
The condition of the passage was still relatively good and there were many different kinds of trees around them.
However, the deeper they got inside, the trees became until there were none.
The floor was covered with weeds and grass that grew from between the rocks.
Seeing how some of the rocks were still in good condition, Jennie could guess that this place was certainly amazing during the old age.
Nevertheless, time was merciless, and the trace of glory in this place was swept away, leaving only the ruins.
The two of them walked deeper into the place as Jennie examined the surroundings with interest.
In contrast with the dark aura around that cave, this place could be said to be clear.
There was still a lot of light from the sun coming inside and the air was fresh.
"That is the altar," Lisa pointed out.
Jennie stared towards the big hall ruins in front of her. There were some traces of pillars all around them and at the center of the place was an altar.
The altar exterior was rather plain without much design and the ordinary shape of a rectangle made people doubt that this was the altar with overwhelming ability.
Taking her hand off Lisa's grasp, Jennie walked to the center of the hall.
The moment her feet stepped inside, her vision changed abruptly. She almost stumbled with the rock in front of her if not for her excellent reflex.
"....Don't...."
The sound of pleas made Jennie turn her eyes.
The people around her were strangers to her, but she could see the heavy expression in their place.
They were looking towards the altar, but she could not see what was on this altar.
She walked step by step into the altar as the sound of people around her buzzed her ears and made her frown.
Their words were unclear, so she didn't know what they were saying.
Her hand touched the altar and she could feel the feeling of sadness assaulting her.
She didn't know the reason, but that feeling entered deep into her heart.
Jennie blinked her eyes and she found herself returned to the ruins.
She looked back and found Lisa looking at her worriedly.
She smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry so much."
