That evening Jennie could already get out of bed, and she too didn't want to stay there for a long time.
Walking outside, she explored the palace of the Kai Kingdom with interest.
She truly wanted to know more about this place,
"Ah, Miss, are you alright?" Xia hurriedly came to Jennie's side.
She had been really worried ever since Jennie fell sick.
Seeing that Jennie was already energetic enough to walk around the palace, she felt glad.
Jennie nodded. "There are barely any soldiers and servants here."
"General Tou ushered them all out. He doesn't want them to spoil the view of the beautiful palace," Xia explained.
She didn't understand what the general meant, but the palace without them was indeed beautiful.
Jennie knew the real reason was not literal, but she didn't explain it to Xia.
She took off the veil she wore as she ordered Xia to clean up the room while she wanted to take a walk around the palace.
Looking around, she finally found the living room.
Jackson, General Tou, and Lisa were all inside.
When they heard the door open, the three of them turned around.
Jackson immediately freezes upon seeing the face of Jennie.
Without the veil, he could see the girl's features and the word beautiful was not enough to describe it.
"If only you're not Lisa's girl I would like to get close to you..." Jackson lamented.
With that kind of face that could overturn the world, how could he didn't feel anything?
He felt that he was being cheated.
Previously, he couldn't get close due to Jayn, now he couldn't get close due to Lisa.
Jennie was speechless upon hearing that remark.
Why would you bring up such a matter right after I get in?
Couldn't you think of another way to express your surprise?
"Jackson, your debt is due today," Lisa remarked.
"What? Didn't you say that you will give me another month? Come on, I no longer owe you that much anymore!" Jackson yelled towards his best friend.
"The interest is 1000% for every hour you delay."
"#$%@%$."
Jennie laughed upon seeing the two of them banter again.
It seemed that no matter the time and place, the two of them would banter without fail and Jackson would always be at the losing end of the conversation.
General Tou chose not to interrupt them. The talk of the youth was not something he understood.
"Did you have an important conversation?" Jennie chose to shift the conversation before the two of them head into more mess.
"We are talking about the attack on the Ming Kingdom since the Manoban family would announce their separation from the Ming Kingdom," General Tou answered.
After hearing the talk of Lisa's past, Jennie got the feeling that Lisa would surely make the Manoban family move from the Ming Kingdom.
To do it at this moment would mean that the Manoban family also announced that they were declaring war against the Ming Kingdom.
"You're ready for the battle?" Jennie looked towards Soujin.
Lisa nodded. "I have made the preparation, and Jisoo is guarding the border with the Ming Kingdom. All in all, everything just waits for the fall of the Kai Kingdom."
"I see," Jun Hua smiled. "How do you want to do it?"
Lisa told her his plan. Jennie thought for a moment before adding a few points for him.
The two of them talked about it as the other two could only watch the making of a plan between the two of them.
After some time, the two of them finally finished.
"Your mind can think even deeper now." Lisa smiled at Jennie.
"Thank you," Jennie smiled.
She looked towards Jackson as she recalled her previous conversation with Lisa the night before.
"Oh yeah, I heard from Lisa that you got hospitalized because trying to kiss a girl?"
Jackson face turned dark and he shifted his gaze towards Lisa. "Why did you tell her? You traitor!"
"It's nothing big," Lisa said calmly.
Jackson didn't want to answer, but seeing the puppy eyes on Jennie, he felt defeated.
He felt that heaven was not fair. Why this mischievous girl has to have such a stunning face?
If he rejected her, he would be the one who felt bad.
"I just got careless and try to kiss the g...girl."
Jennie's eyebrow rose. It seemed she understood what had happened.
"I reckon that girl must be furious over your attempt."
Jackson recalled that memory and smiled wryly.
That was over than furious as he was almost being sent right to his grave by that person.
If it was possible, he didn't want to remember that experience anymore.
Lisa nodded. "It took Jackson almost a month to come to terms with the other party."
If it was her, she would undoubtedly send Jackson straight to his grave without any delay.
Jennie smirked. "But, I never know the prince of the Ming Kingdom would make a move against his sister."
Jackson's mouth opened wide. "How...?" do you know?
The second part of the sentence never came out of his mouth since he was too embarrassed to say the word out loud.
At that time, they were trying to do something different, and Jisoo was dressed as a young stunning lady, which made Jackson unable to recognize him...
the rest was just too tragic, Jackson didn't want to remember it anymore.
Seeing the expression on Jackson's face, Jennie knew that she guessed correctly.
To find out the real gender of Jisoo in that kind of way, no wonder he felt down when she could know just by interacting twice.
"Her intelligence is higher than yours. It seems the highly acclaimed prince cannot even be compared with a girl," Lisa remarked stabbing into Jackson's deepest part.
"I'm a woman."
"Not yet," Lisa countered.
As the two of them got into another heated debate, Jackson could only lay low as he didn't want to get stabbed out of nowhere anymore.
On the side, General Tou could only shake his head as he pretended that he couldn't hear anything.
