The next day, Jennie was looking at Leo with questions written all over her face.

This old man just told her that he needed her to attend the court today. It is known that women usually can't join the court because they have lower positions.

Although she is a princess, she is still not allowed to meddle in the matter of their government easily.

"Prime Minister, did you hurt your head over these times that we have been away?" Jennie asked the old man with a confused expression.

Leo cannot blame Jennie for doubting his word because he too couldn't believe that he needed this little lass to attend because of a matter in the court.

Since she had been away with Lisa for the past four to five months, there was no way they would know that something was happening here.

Well, they could know from their people, but this matter was quite sudden.

"If you don't have anything important, please leave," Lisa said coldly.

Jennie is a married and pregnant woman. He would not allow her to do any hard work.

Seeing the cold glint Lisa gave him,  Leo felt wronged. It was not like he wanted to do this on purpose.

Inside his heart, he yelled at Jackson. If only this new emperor didn't ask him to talk to his grandson and ask permission to take Jennie to the palace to help with the court, he would not bother with their life.

"There is someone who could only be handled by you," Leo answered.

"Handled by me?" Jennie wore a strange expression.

For the first time in her life, she heard that she could handle someone else.

Did he think she was a human tamer?

Noticing the weird expression she had, Leo hurriedly changed his words, "Not like that, but there is someone whom you know and he only wanted you to talk about the matter regarding trade with him."

Trade?

Jennie's mind thinks deeply until she finally remembers one person with whom she had had contact a long time ago.

She sighed to herself at the thought that she would still need to do more work even when she was pregnant.

"Show me the way."

Leo nodded his head and escorted the two of them to the palace. Lis didn't want to leave Jennie alone because the girl refused to tell him who that person was.

The moment they reached the palace, they could see a finely dressed young scholarly man standing inside the hall with a beautiful lady by his side.

The young man looked at Jennie with surprise, but Jennie just sighed. She recognized his scholarly front extremely well.

"How do you do, Prince Ashan?"

How long has it been since the last time she saw this noble from the Yuan Kingdom?

She hadn't paid any attention to the river, so she might have missed the time when the water went down this year.

Ashan looked at Jennie in disbelief. His mouth opened up a little as he said in a quivering voice, "Jayn Kim?"

"That's me," Jennie knew that this man didn't know that she was Jayn.

Still, seeing how his expression changed so much from the revelation made her slightly satisfied.

After all, almost everyone who found out that she was Jayn would be greatly surprised.

"But how...?" Ashan looked at Jennie for several seconds before sighing, "Even when I have found out about the fake corpse, you still manage to fool me."

"It's not like I want to fool anyone," Jennie shrugged. "Back to the topic, did you come here because of the matter in the Yuan Kingdom?"

Ashan sighed and nodded his head, "Yes. I have heard about the matter of the Yuan Kingdom becoming one of the subordinate countries of the Long Kingdom. Because the conquest hadn't been over yet, the place was still governed by the previous Emperor, but I guess the time is near for the change, right?"

Jennie nodded her head. After Rosé finishes her conquest and all, she will stay in that city along with Jisoo.

Of course, they hadn't known about the matter yet since she didn't tell them about the details.

With Rosé practically fleeing towards her soldiers to start the war, there was no chance for her to tell the other party.

"I want to discuss the term with you since you're the first person that I met previously," Ashan said and his eyes turned to the man beside her, "But I guess I won't be able to do that without offending this man."

Jennie laughed dryly. Lisa must have sent this man a glare because he knew her.

There was simply nothing she could do since they indeed knew each other.

"My wife is not up for a negotiation. You may talk about these subjects with our emperor," Lisa said calmly, yet his tone was rather cold and unapproachable.

Ashan froze at the word 'wife'. He peered towards Jennie for a moment before nodding his head and moving to the side a little.

The girl who had been standing behind him could now be seen clearly, "This is May Xiao, she is the daughter of a powerful noble in my area."

"Xiao Meng greets Princess Jennie and Prince Lisa,"  May curtsied.

Jennie nodded her head, "Why did you bring her here?"

"At first I want to introduce her to Jun Min,"  Ashan coughed, "But I guess I shall change my plan."

"You can give her to the emperor," Lisa retorted calmly.

With the beauty this May had, there was no way that playful prince wouldn't be moved at all.

"I don't think that would be a good idea," Ashan shook his head.

Considering Jackson's reputation, it would be better if  May didn't meet with that young emperor at all.

Jennie and May could see these two men were looking at each other with challenging gaze.

The two ladies instinctively moved back and let the two of them have their staring contest.

At this time, there was no need for them to plunge themselves into an unnecessary problem like that.

"Princess May, do you mind telling me the story of your kingdom?" Jennie smiled.

May was stunned. She looked towards Jennie with a wry smile, "I'm not a princess."

"If you're not a princess, you won't be wearing things of this quality," Jennie was introduced to these accessories by Jisoo and Jackson during her spare time.

Those two were extremely proficient when it came to these things and Jennie managed to learn a lot.

One of them was the fact that the material used for nobility and royal family.

May smiled in resignation, "You have a good eye. Yes, I'm the princess there, but I'm not one of the favored princesses there. I only come here because there is a battle for succession in my Kingdom and I don't want to get dragged into it."

Jennie nodded her head, "I pray for the best."

"Thank you."

As the two of them were talking, Jisoo had just walked into the court and found the two people were still busy with their gazing battle.

He sighed to himself. "If you want to fight, there is a training hall not far from here."

Lisa looked at the man in front of him, "Shall we try, Prince Ashan?"

"Sure, I have long wanted to see your prowess, General Lisa," Ashan answered.

Behind them, Jennie just sighed. She could never understand what these men were thinking.
