Jisoo's face paled considerably upon hearing the news and he ran out from the room straight away.
Jackson was speechless upon seeing his friend's action.
"Rosé is not that hurt, right?" Jackson looked towards Lisa.
Given that Lisa was the leader, he would not let the girl get a heavy wound.
Besides, Jisoo surely would threaten Lisa if the latter were to let the girl hurt, though it would not affect Lisa much given his capabilities.
Lisa took the glass to the table. "Someone like you would not understand the worry when someone you care about is hurt."
Jackson felt like Lisa was mocking him for being single. This friend of his was ruthless. He sure knew where to hit that produced the most hurt for him.
Anyway, it was not like he was not trying to get close to girls, but it was them who didn't want to get close to him. Who could he blame?
Jisoo hurriedly ran to the place where Rosé was. The girl was sitting with her arm bleeding, but she waved using her other hand to him when he came closer.
"Is your wound deep?" he hurriedly asked when he arrived.
"Nope," Rosé grinned.
"Why are you so worried? I have told them that the wound is not serious. Besides, it's normal to have a bit of wound on the battlefield." Rosé said in a leisurely tone.
She didn't mind the wound on her arm since it did not hurt that much.
She had experienced fighting a few times already, she had gotten used to the pain from the blade and all.
For her, it was nothing to be concerned about.
On the other hand, Jisoo felt that he had been tricked by that soldier. The way he said it was like Rosé already on her last breath.
Seeing the girl was still smiling at him, he didn't know whether to cry or laugh.
He was genuinely panicked when he heard that she was hurt, but now he felt immense relief.
"Thank goodness that you're fine," he took a seat beside her, he started to tend the wound.
"Thank you," Rosé grinned, "I heard that you have been helping to tend the wounds of the soldiers here?"
Jisoo nodded, "I'm a doctor. It's normal for me to tend the wound for them."
"Before now, you're a princess," Rosé giggled, "I don't want to see you wearing a dress anymore."
"I don't want to wear one anymore," Jisoo answered.
For him, it was already enough torture to act as a good girl in front of other people. Those days could be said as the darkest moment of his life.
Luckily, because of his 'weak constitution,' he didn't need to meet people too often.
Now that he already has another identity, there is no need for him to dress up as a girl anymore.
No one remembered about Jisoo anymore since the girl didn't stand out in the past. It was a good thing for him because he didn't need to bother doing anything unnecessary.
Rosé looked at her arm. "You're really good. Have you done this often?"
"There is nothing I can do in my house, so I sneaked out to learn," Jisoo answered.
"Lisa and my brother provided the arrangement to allow me to learn without worry. Besides, a sickly little girl would not get out often."
Rosé smiled. The time Jisoo sneaked out from the palace must have been fun. He was around the same age as her, almost a year older.
However, his experience was something that even she found interesting.
"I don't know the security in the palace is that lax," Rosé commented.
"It's not lax at all. Only the one near my place has their guards changed to Lisa's people," Jisoo explained, "It took a long time before the preparation finished, but the other area cannot be changed."
Strategist Wu made sure of the guard around them to be on the emperor's side.
Jisoo only managed to slip some of Lisa's people in because no one cared about a sickly princess.
On the other hand, it was much harder for Jackson because he was a prince and people were monitoring him on some occasions.
Rosé looked at Jisoo, "Are you a sickly person?"
"No," Jisoo smiled. "It's a rumor I created myself."
Not exactly true, he was known as a sickly 'princess' even before that because of his mother trying hard to hide his gender.
For safety reasons, his mother didn't want him to meet with anyone and have close contact. However, in the end, he made a few friends.
"It's done," Jisoo looked towards Rosé's bandaged arm, "But, you're not allowed to move so much with the arm."
"How do you think it is possible?" Rosé scoffed.
This was the battlefield and as the commander, she needed to fight on the frontline.
Expecting her to stay silent and didn't do anything was close to impossible.
At that time, it was almost certain that she would get wounded again.
"If you keep on staying at the frontline, you will get hurt," Jisoo frowned.
"Don't worry. If I'm hurt, you will be here to heal me," Rosé grinned.
Jisoo gaped at the unexpected answer from Rosé's mouth.
Did this girl know what she was saying? That kind of words would make him unable to control himself.
Patting the girl's head, he sighed. "You're not allowed to say those words anymore. After the war is over, I will meet your father."
"Right..." Rosé smiled, her face reddened at those words.
At the same time, she felt happy. "I'll try to talk with him too."
Jisoo looked towards the beaming smile of the girl with a wry smile.
Why did she have to test him over and over again?
Still, the war was not over, so he didn't need to be that impatient.
However, he would not let her go without her compensating him in some way.
Leaning in, he gave her a light kiss.
