With the aid of pregnancy medicine and healthy food, Jennie's condition soon turned out to be better.

She didn't need to rest for a long time in bed anymore, though Lisa would not allow her to step outside their room and would come to deliver her food every day.

Jennie can faintly hear the sound of people battling not far from the inn.

Nevertheless, she didn't bother to go as she focused on the bowl of food in front of her and ate calmly.

Lisa appeared in front of the intruder and attacked heavily. With his power, the intruder was immediately sent back to the wall.

The intruder, named Jiu, stared at Lisa with a surprised face as he didn't expect that Lisa would grow this much after their last battle.

What he didn't know was the rage of a man who nearly lost his wife and child was bigger than an ordinary general.

"You have lost your touch, Jiu," Lisa said icily.

Jiu rose to his feet again. He looked towards Lisa with a heated gaze, "I will take that girl and get the power to see the future again."

"Do you think I would let you?"

The two clashed heavily and it was painfully clear that Jiu was no match for Lisa.

On the side, Jisoo was watching their fight from quite a distance.

He knew that the two of them wouldn't engage in the fight for a long time since their differences were clear.

"Do you want to join in the fray?" Jackson asked.

Jisoo shook his head, "There is no way we could enter unless you're willing to meet with your creator."

"No thank you," Jackson politely refused.

From what he had seen, he knew that the ability of a person who was fighting for those they care about would rise exponentially.

Jennie was more daring and powerful when she was facing Jiu on Lisa's behalf, and Lisa was more ruthless and powerful when he was fighting someone who aimed to harm his wife.

The fight soon ended and Jiu was trashed terribly by Lisa.

The man cannot even lift his hand anymore because Lisa pushed him back to the wall.

Jiu stared to the side and noticed that his subordinates were annihilated by Shu, Lou, Yasha, and Yeji completely.

They were highly proficient in their movement as they quickly finished off the elites Jiu brought here.
