"If you want to show off, you don't have to be here," Jackson said to Jisoo with an annoyed tone.

Jisoo ignored the grumbling Jackson. Who told him to peek at them when he was talking with Rosé?

He turned to Lisa who was busy with the map in front of him, "Have you thought about the new strategy?"

"You don't have to worry. I will get everything ready," Lisa answered calmly.

Jackson and Jisoo nodded, they would just leave the matter to Lisa.

For the next few days, the battles on the border continued without any winner.

The battle was no longer to conquer the city as Lisa forced the Ming Kingdom to have the battle in the plain.

On the back, Strategist Wu watched the condition of the battlefield calmly.

Although Lisa was a renowned young general, he didn't feel any fear. He was once a famous strategist in his era, but that era has long passed.

"Rei, you passed the order."

"Yes Master," Rei smiled as he quickly disappeared from his spot.

Strategist Wu looked toward the battle in front of him.

So, the famous young general of the Ming Kingdom was just like this?

It seemed your decision to change your allegiance was wrong.

He would show the young general just how much their difference was.

Lisa continued to fight on the frontline, his brow creased as he watched the new formation the Ming Kingdom deployed.

It seemed that Strategist Wu could read his movement better than he thought.

It didn't matter, though; he just needed to stall the time as long as possible.

"Lou, how is the condition of the formation?"

"Young Master, the formation is broken on the left," Lou replied respectfully.

Lisa shifted his gaze to the left.

The situation was not that bad, but Strategist Wu had made a loophole out of the formation he deployed.

"Let's move again," Lifting his sword, Lisa made his way towards the enemy line.

Strategist Wu has to admit that Lisa's martial art was truly one of a kind.

Seeing how the advance of the young man couldn't be stopped, reminded him of the word monster.

Those kinds of monsters appeared in the same kingdom, but the emperor never deployed them well.

Three of them appeared at nearly the same time, but one of them raised his sword back to the emperor.

The other one died in an accident. And the last one was uncontrollable, which made him die on the way.

Truly unfortunate, even if the Ming Kingdom survived this ordeal, it was uncertain how the future would be.

Strategist Wu looked at the man before him. If only the emperor was not that stuck up on wanting complete control and doing things moderately, this might never happen.

"Stop the general advance," Strategist Wu ordered.

Spilled milk couldn't be retrieved back, there was no use lamenting about this anymore.

It was better to continue the advance and finish the matter on hand first.

Jackson and Jisio didn't participate in the fight. The two of them waited on the wall and watched the progress of the battle.

"Jackson, the situation didn't look so good," Jisoo said as the battle continued.

Jackson looked towards Jisii, "You always said the same thing for the past few days? Didn't the two sides are more or less equal?"

In Jackson's mind, no matter how great Strategist Wu was, he could never outdo Lisa.

The best he could do would only be on par with Lisa. That just showed how much he trusted Lisa's capability.

Jisoo stared at Jackson with a blank look.

He didn't know whether there was a hole in Jackson's brain or this guy was genuinely that idiot.

He truly wondered how Jackson could make a strategy that well when they were playing chess if he thought like this.

"Look at over there," Jisoo pointed,
"The soldiers on Lisa's side are getting pushed back. Although there is no guarantee that they would lose, if this continued, Lisa would be surrounded."

"Is it that bad?" Jackson didn't understand the war that well.

"Just like when you're cornered at chess. You've limited ways to get out and the chance to release yourself from being surrounded is rare," Jisoo gave a simplified explanation.

Jackson's face paled. "That would be bad! Lisa needed to get out of there soon. Let me go down there and fight too!"

Jisoo shook his head, "If your fighting prowess is equal to Lisa's, I would be relieved that you came to help him. However, with your measly strength, how do you expect to help him?"

Jackson stopped in his tracks. He wanted to cry. Why would Jisoo's words have to be so hurtful?

Couldn't he choose a better word to tell him that his power was not enough to help Lisa? Feeling down, he returned to his seat.

Normally, Jisoo would feel amused by Jackson's antics, but this time the situation was dire.

If Lisa were to lose, the morale of the soldiers would be affected and they might lose the later battle.

Not to mention, if Lisa were to get wounded, the morale of the soldiers here would decrease by a lot.

It could be the opposite, but the fighting power of Lisa was certainly needed for them to win.

The option to let the general get hurt was not in their dictionary.

Jisoo watched Lisa from afar before he frowned and pulled Jackson on his side.

"What is it? Don't pull me around," Jackson protested.

"Look at Lisa, can you see his expression?" Jisoo asked.

"Are you crazy? Do you think that I have that kind of godly eyes to see his expression from this far?" Despite protesting, Jackson still looked toward Lisa.

Due to his skills, he has better eyesight than normal people, and with one glance; he could tell that Lisa was calm and composed.

"What do you see?" Jisoo was getting impatient. Due to his lower martial art, he couldn't see clearly, but he got the feeling that Lisa was exceedingly calm.

"He's smiling," Jackson said in disbelief tone.

Jisoo frowned. He looked around, and no matter which side he saw, he only knew that Lisa's soldiers were surrounded and his condition was not good.

If this kept going on, the battle would be their loss. If that was so, why was he smiling?

Lisa was indeed smiling. He looked towards his servant. "Lou, it's time."
