After quite some time, Lisa finally accepted their invitation to get inside, but he still didn't allow them to come near Jennie.

He sat near Jennie's bed as the two men sat further.

"Sorry for crashing in your place like this," Lisa said.

He had learned that the old man was the head of this tribe while the young man was the next head.

Because of some incident, which as the death of his stepsister, the young man's position was taken away from him and given to his brother.

The young man shook his head, "There is no need to apologize. Thanks to you now they believe that I'm not the one who killed my sister."

The old man hit the young man on the head as he shook his head, "You can stay here for the time being. As for Jiu, we are sorry to say that he has escaped."

"There is no need to worry, he will surely come to find Jennie again," Lisa's eyes glinted with fury. When that guy comes again, he will surely chop him off to the ground.

"Jennie?" the young man looked towards the girl on the bed with a weird expression.

"She doesn't have the power to see the future," Lisa felt tired explaining these things to them, "It's only a coincidence that their name is the same."

The old man nodded his head. He looked towards Jennie with a complicated look on his face before standing up.

There was no need for him to trouble them when the girl was still in poor condition.

The old man left the room followed by the young man.

Lisa looked towards Jennie with a sad expression, and he moved his hand to caress her hair.

"You're making me worried."

When he noticed that Jennie was moving towards him, all he could think was catching the girl and protecting her.

Luckily, Lou acted on time and moved forward to fight with Jiu or he would need to fight with one hand.

He caressed the girl's head as he sighed, "Get better quickly. I didn't wait for you just to see you leave me again."

Lisa stared at the sleeping girl on the bed. The young man already gave him the antidote, which Lisa fed to Jennie.

Her complexion did turn slightly better, but it was still not enough to say that she was fully healthy.

He will need to wait for Jisoo to come and do some check up for Jennie.

He didn't know how long time had passed when the young lady's eyes opened.

"Lisa," Jennie muttered as her gaze focused on the man beside her, "What happened in the pathway?"

Lisa knew the pathway she mentioned must be the one where Jiu took her to the altar.

He frowned slightly since he didn't want her to know more than she had known.

"Don't you remember anything?"

"I remember you coming and I ran to you,"

Jennie didn't remember how she managed to free herself from Jiu since her mind at that time was blurry. All she knew was that she was determined to reach Lisa at any cost.

Lisa nodded his head, "You're right."

"After that, what happened?"

"Lou fought with Jiu, but he escaped," Lisa answered.
