Some were stars and others were flowers, scattered in different areas. Today was the day of the town carnival, so I wanted to be a bit more festive than I usually was. I was going with Daisy (of course) and I just hoped that she wouldn't ditch me for a random hookup half way through. She had done that a couple times in the past and it always annoyed the fuck out of me, especially since she knew that I hated big crowds and would often get panic attacks when alone in them.
I smudged some purple eye shadow over my eyelids— the purple hue of the powder and black pigment of my eyeliner slowly smudging together, creating a beautiful gradient like look. I smiled, admiring my work that I was quite fond of.
Daisy would be coming over to pick me up any second, so I had to make sure that I was ready and that I had everything that I needed. Even though the carnival wasn't for anything specific, I thought that it would be cute and fun to dress up more than other people would. I made sure that I would stand out in the sea of Soc's and Greasers.
I decided on an off the sleeve, black shirt that had bell sleeves as well as a purple floral skirt. I debated on tights since I wasn't sure if we wouldn't be running, but then again it was a carnival, so I put them on.
