How These Things Work

Murray's plot is revealed in a typical fashion.

"Okay, Murray," Zoe said. "What's your plot?"

"You mean Ben hasn't figured it out yet?" Murray asked.

"Of course I have," Ben said.

"Then tell me what I'm plotting," Murray said.

"You don't know your own plan?" Erica asked.

"I just want to know if Ben's figured it out yet," Murray said.

"Oh come on," Cyrus said. "I don't care who does it, but someone has to say what the plan is for us to stop it."

"Fine," Ben said. "Murray was planning to bomb Moldova."

"Why Moldova?" Mike asked.

"Someone was willing to pay me for it," Murray said. "Why else would I do anything?"

"Let's get going," Erica said. "When is this bomb going to go off?"

"In an hour," Murray said.

"Do you know how to defuse the bomb?" Ben asked Murray.

"Uh, maybe."

"Just get in the helicopter," Cyrus said.

"It doesn't matter if any of us know how to defuse the thing; we can't not save the day," Erica said. "That's just how these things work."
